Ok… but under NY law the misdemeanor crime of falsifying business records becomes a felony if it was for the purpose of breaking a federal law.


And they would have to use a Federal case as precedent because they can't legally make a determination a Federal crime was committed by Trump without a Federal conviction, which Trump does not have. Cohen's Fed convictions do not make Trump guilty of any Fed crime(s). Only a Federal Court can convict. 😀

They can’t prove a federal law was broken.
All they have is the ‘word’ of a convicted liar and disbarred fraudster.
That’s why the FEDS didn’t bring a case.
