In a statement issued on Sunday, Zelensky noted he had spoken to House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries (D-NY) thanking “him and all the congressmen for their support”, and for voting to send Ukraine $61 billion of a $95 billion foreign aid package.
Zelensky added that during his conversation with Jeffries, he had “emphasized the need for Patriot systems.”
On Friday, Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin revealed that the U.S. would be sending Ukraine more Patriot systems as part of an additional $6 billion foreign aid package.
“Also, our teams, Ukraine and the United States, are currently working on a bilateral security agreement, and we are already working on a specific text. Our goal is to make this agreement the strongest of all. We are discussing the specific foundations of our security and cooperation,” Zelensky said.
“We are also working on fixing specific levels of support for this year, and FOR THE NEXT TEN YEARS, including armed support, financial, political, and joint arms production.
The agreement should be truly exemplary and reflect the strength of American leadership. I am grateful to both our team and the team of the American side for the progress in drafting the agreement.”

They will try to milk us for everything , the sad part is the traitors in congress putting Ukraine border over ours. This is one of the many reasons I want Trump back in.
If Biden gets another four years you better believe that we’ll be paying to rebuild Ukraine too.

Now that Sam Bankman-Fried is in jail and his 300 shell companies are belly up, the con artist Democrats need another easy money laundering scheme.
Ukraine is the perfect place, nobody will ever see or know where the money actually goes.

Before the most recent aid package that was passed by Congress about a week ago, the US had provided about 75 Billion $ to Ukraine over the previous two years. The US economy is about 25 Trillion $ per year. That's about 0.3% of our GDP per year.
The EU countries have supplied a similar amount to the US out of an economy similar in size.
Meanwhile, Russia has spent an estimated 211 Billion $ equivalent on the Ukraine war. Their economy is a little bit less than 1/10 the size of the US economy.
On a relative scale, Russia has spent about 40 times as much per capita as the Western Alliance. What makes you think we are in trouble, economically?
I am sick of my tax money being pissed away.
People like you won't last ten minutes in an authoritarian society.

Fundamental misconception: it's not your money. It belongs to the government and you don't have any say in how it is spent. If you don't like their financial policies, vote them out at the next election.
Democracy, you know. That thing you hate, but are too dependent on to emigrate. People like you won't last ten minutes in an authoritarian society.
