As Bennie Thompson has pointed out, the prisons aren't equipped to house and protect an individual the way the law requires a US President, or former US President to be protected.

Even the Philippines didn't put their President, Ferdinand Marcos, or his wife Emelda, in prison. They exiled them to Hawaii, where the US Government agreed to protect them. We can't do less for one of our own Presidents.

Unless Congress passes a law that the former President is not entitled to protection. That means not entitled, even in prison.

It won't. That would be the equivalence of legislating a death sentence for any former US President convicted of a felony. They can't do that. It's unconstitutional in so many ways. SCOTUS would nullify such a law quicker than they ruled against Al Gore and for GW Bush in 2000!

Some of the classified information that Trump took and allegedly discussed with random strangers at Mar-a-Lago were nuclear secrets. Divulging nuclear secrets (A.K.A., Restricted Data) is covered by different laws than run-of-the-mill espionage, and goes up to and including capital punishment (think of Julius and Ethel Rosenberg).

In the recent past, individuals who have intentionally attempted to profit from releasing Restricted Data have ended up in high security prisons where their chances of either escaping, getting killed, or leaking the information to other people are essentially zero. They're kept in solitary confinement to prevent leaking information to other prisoners and all the guards have security clearances, so they can hear classified information without getting in trouble.

Stew Nozette was never a US President. It's too late to stop any leaks. If Trump was going to be tried for treason for those leaked nuclear secrets, a military tribunal would have already happened. The Illuminati PTB, that all US Presidents answer to, already know all our secrets.

For people like you to think they want him dead maybe? He'd have died years ago if they wanted him out of the picture, they would have got him with COVID but they miraculously cured him with that cocktail that we haven't heard a peep about since.

In that case, Trump could seek asylum and it would be granted in almost any US friendly country, as well as some not so US friendly countries, like Russia or China, where Trump does lot of business. Trump businesses paid more in taxes to China than they paid in US taxes.

I find it ironic both sides speak with such hyperbole.

So and so is treasonous. So and so should be hanged. So and so needs to be imprisoned.

Then they absolutely seethe when the same language is used by their opposition.

American two party politics is such a joke right now. Both sides refuse to find any semblance of maturity. And both sides have more similarities in policy than differences. The distraction of theatrical arguing between the bases keeps the status quo alive.

I've always said, if Trump is convicted, he'll get the Napoleon treatment.

He'll be allowed to live out the rest of his days at Mar-a-Lago but never be allowed to leave.

These dems and anyone else who are championing removing a former president's secret service protection, who is also a current candidate running against them, proves beyond any doubt the malicious and criminal intent of all of them. These people have abandoned all morality or ethical composure to the point of wanting their opponent murdered.

If this happens, then all bets are off and there will be bloody vengeance and everything these fools believe that they can have that is good will be ripped away from them 100 fold, for what they are doing to Trump. That's my prediction.
