* May have placed this wrong, move as needed *

This is going to be a fiasco. Everyone to the dance floor.

www.tallahassee.com...

The hilarious thing is that Ron DeSantis actually thinks he can block a legal church protected by The First Amendment from doing this once he pulls this trigger.

You might not like how they use their church, but they are legally recognized. And though the followers may be mostly liberal sheep, The Temple Itself is certainly playing the adversary here.

It's kinda a "Satanism Taboo" to appeal to authority to fight you battles, but there are caveats I guess.

"We're not playing those games in Florida," DeSantis continued. "That is not a religion. That is not qualifying to be able to participate in this."

Well, actually you are. You can't exclude LHP chaplains. Even pandering political ones, Governor Pot/Kettle.

Because he's just bold-faced lying if his Chaplain Bill isn't Theocratically motivated.

Which opens up this:

Despite DeSantis's contempt for religious liberty, the Constitution guarantees our equal treatment under the law, and DeSantis is not at liberty to amend the Constitution by fiat, at whim," said Lucien Greaves, co-founder of the The Satanic Temple. "He just invited Satanic chaplains into public schools, whether he likes it or not,"

Doug's gonna throw down now! Political tit for tat all the way the Supreme Court may be the end game.

I'm inclined to agree with The Secular Action Rangers here. You can't exclude the LHP. Even Liberals angry over theocracy.

I just think of the military. There's chaplains there, and there's freedom of religion. You are allowed a religious text to boot camp. And last time I checked that can still be Liber Al Legis, The Satanic Bible, or even The Lesser Key of Solomon if you want it too. If that is your book of religious significance.

DeSantis has pretty much done the equivalent of telling a Satanist they can't serve in the military, and can't practice their religion freely when enlisted. And everyone knows that's unconstitutional.

He has to play this game now, and that's what he gets for trying this law. Probably wants to knowing him.

My prediction?
Satan will lose. The conservative courts have a new guideline now, historical social acceptance. Florida Supreme Court will rule against Satan, and so will s SCOTUS.

Even though the Church of Satan is basically a humanistic organization, the conservative courts will reject its historical place in American society. Maybe Alito will even cite and quote that 16th century witch trial judge again in the ruling! LOL

Well best of luck to him I guess.
Way to open pandoras box DeSantis. This should be an entertaining lesson for him to learn. Talk about hating on people rights.

Unconstitutional you say?
Funny, I don’t remember you creating a thread when Biden unconstitutionally started wiping college tuition debt with taxpayer money.
Satanism isn’t a religion, it’s a disease that rots the soul.
The question is…is this an anti DeSantis thread or a pro satanist thread?

So they copout and call themselves "Universalists" and do it that way?

You're probably right. Especially on Alito. Probably use the same witch burning judge too. Alito has about the level of occult insight of a 1600s citizen too.

But what about the 1700s? What of The Founders?

People really don't understand Freemason deism, I read enough about it to know it is a parallel form to Deistic Satanism. Actually, that's backwards, Satanic Deism is an attempted parallel of Freemasonry mixed with hermetic and ESPECIALLY gnostic Christian principles, only completely without inherent duality.

Which I also read is something they break to you in higher degrees of Freemasonry.

Even in (non-politicized) Satanism, there is this recognition of a noble or even divine form. A True North, Satanism just overtly acknowledges the path to merging with this refined form is through sublimation of adversity (and negative behavior) in a world that is a fixture of ambivalence. In this non-dual way the darkside is said has no rival.

In more theistic varieties "The freemason architect" becomes a Postmodern Master as sacred geometry still gets defined in multiples of 3.

So the form definitely has a place in American culture.

Like the first comment, I'm sure I'll take crap for this one too.

It's so true. Freemasons recognize the deity Lucifer, the light bearer, or bringer of light. But we little people from the profane world will have nothing to do with Satan, The Devil, Beelzebub!

Satan is already the ruler of the world. And the controller of all the world's religions, including the vast number of sects of Christendom with the false Trinity and their God-degrading Hellfire doctrines, inspired lies of demons.

Every opinion deserves consideration although I'm afraid some Freemasons, especially those traditional ones, might want to slap you in the face for equating Freemasonry to Satanism. The Grand Orient members are more open-minded but even they could raise objections.

There was a time when I was interested in Freemasonry and read a lot about it. And it has always struck me as highly dualistic. But I don't have an uncle who is a Freemason so I could have missed something.

Anyway, I don't want to digress too much from the topic. Satanism in its original form (that was embodied by the original Church of Satan in SF) is simple and down to earth. Esoteric and initiatory crap has never been part of it. Neither has the political agenda or the fight to change the society.

I'm not so well versed in the American legal system to predict how this fight will end. Even if the Satanic Temple wins, the school headmasters and the parents will have most say what chaplains will be allowed into schools. So it might turn out that the legal victory will be purely theoretical if no school lets the Satanic wackos in.

Oh most definitely. Especially some outsider bitch that was invited to a couple Eastern Star events and thinks they know.

That's actually based on a TV documentary I saw.

Until that point I thought it was all charts and The Spirit of St. (whoever the June 24th one is). Looked it up, it's St. John. Always forget which St. It is.

Towards the end, the interviewed Mason said something along the lines of, "There is no good and evil, just evil." Sorta like the Pink Floyd line, "There is no dark side of the moon, really, as matter of fact, It's all dark."

That's supposedly the major inversion switcheroo they pull at some point. But before that you do a bunch of charity and learn the sacred charts, being an ethical person, esoteric symbolism, and how to build "a divine form" in a world of less than that.

CoS, LaVey might have said the atheist crap but Satan was Lord of his World. He was very deist if you really think about it.

And the form he put together, I feel, is very much a nondual hijacking of Aleister Crowley, Hermetic crap, and elements of Freemasonry.

Like with Traditional Satanism. And how their version of the architect is some Dark Force (divine entropy) that itself has no Dualistic implications. It's just better to be a noble Jedi than Captain Darkside.

I'm better with the Satanism than the Freemasonry, but I saw that documentary on The Discovery or History Channel. They did a bit of Freemason demystifaction. Not the robed guys smearing blood on a Pentagram undercover expose one, but the one they let cameras in to film, that can be verified.

After explaining the three rules, the theistic requirements, they still tossed on that "only evil" thing, which always slides it into a George Lucas-like nonduality for me. And people are mostly aware of the parallels between Satanism and Star Wars. Especially in the Sith.

Which is why we Americans have "In God We Trust" printed on our money, right?
It's God's will, right?

Freaking Federal Reserve. They have board of Governors, which is governmental, but the reserve banks are a private corporation. It's some loophole.

Hell, the pledge of allegiance morphed over time. Different variations started gaining in popularity from the original secular one that omitted reference to a god. But then a dominant version took off, it was not really opposed by anyone, and Eisenhower added it by decree in The 50s.

There's a lot of that "under god" stuff. While you're stuck with it on your paper currency, there's nothing that forces you to say it. No oath is invalidated if you skip over that part.

It's just a thing you can say or not. Legally anyway.

That particular abbreviation is Gold, Oil, Drugs.

Sure. The singer is a pussy, but I like the song.

This I’ve heard described as privatise the profits and socialise the loses. It’s how the rich get richer dude.

I actually remember in real time when "In God We Trust" was put on our paper money (coins are older).

Even back then there was a huge uproar of forcing God on the public.

That sounds about right. I once saw this video that The Fed used "the feds" to off Kennedy when he turned against the Defense Contractors, Cold War, and wanted to abolish the Federal Reserve. Just one of many angles alongside "Mob" and others.

Other than that there's nothing really worth paying attention to there. Sometimes people just think they are calling something out.
