I thought Democrats were against foreign wars. What happened in the last two decades to turn them?

It was the most substantial border bill in decades and, once again, was fully backed by Border Patrol.

Now the GOP is trying to put together a weaker bill in hopes it will pass just so they can say they tried to do something about the border in November.

Unfortunately, a lot of people only learn fire is hot by sticking their hand in it. “be careful what you wish for, you just might get it”. And there are still lots of people who will say Trump stuck their hand in it.

I saw this as well. I've seen SMS's from MJ and he goes out of his way to exclaim how "Christian" he is in ads and in messages.
Mike Pence has done the same thing.

Anyone who goes out of their way to tell others how Christian they are are most always using it as a way to deceive the innocent or naive into supporting them.

Those who do this are indeed the Judas Iscariot's of our time. They are not true or faithful Christians.

No it wasn’t, it was a joke. Why do you think the dumbercrats liked it so much and almost all republicans rejected it even though it was partially written by a R senator from my state, the backlash he got from his constituents was swift and harsh. Pretty much a wtf are you doing message. It was a trash bill that kept the border open. If you think somehow that was a stellar bill then you’re obviously anti American and not the sharpest tool.

We won’t mention all the billions written into it for foreign aid in it. That never got written out did it?

It's not even politics anymore now that trump has been anointed by God himself. It's a new religion....what this country needs is a theocracy with evangelicals like MTG and lauren B. leading the charge back to normalacy.

IF MAGA Republicans have leaders with street-smarts in their ranks, they will use today's "Uniparty" foreign-aid bill to increase their numbers in the House, Senate, and to more easily return Donald Trump to the White House.

Today, "traitors" serving in Congress, defied most American's wishes by voting to help Ukraine, Israel, and Taiwan secure their borders, without demanding (or even requesting!) that President Biden begin enforcing existing U.S. border security laws and regulations!

They need to be removed from power in November, or by some other legal means, if they are not up for re-election this year.

The House flipping to Democrats may be more than likely if MTG and her friends go through with ousting yet another speaker.

According to Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL), if or when the motion to vacate is introduced, two more moderate Republican congressmen will resign, effective immediately. This would punish the Republican party into losing the majority control, and the Democrats could then elect a new speaker with their majority.

If you watch that twitter link, she said this on a podcast with Matt Gaetz, so who knows how accurate the info is, but if true, and they push through with ousting Johnson, they may lose it all.

This can't be what Trump wants. Regardless of what Johnson does, or who he works with, he is a Trump man, through and through. As Speaker of the House, come November, he could be presiding over who the next president will be, should it come down to that. For Trump, it should be imperative Johnson remain in power at least that long.

This is exactly how the system is supposed to work. Representatives are expected to vote in their constituents’ interest and according to their consciences, not blindly along party lines. Party whips are responsible for persuading representatives to vote with their parties; their very existence makes it clear that party loyalty is important only to the party itself.

People who don’t understand the apparatus of government think the men and women they put into Congress are duty-bound to vote as they want on every issue. They are stupidly, hilariously wrong. If that was the case, every legislative issue could be settled by referendum − and the country would soon fall to pieces.

If this should pass the vote, he will be in a stronger position than he has ever been before, and he may gain the confidence to start working on other bills that have had no path forward.

The passage of this bill was so overwhelmingly bipartisan, only the Chaos Caucus, the Putin Republicans, were against it. But aside from them, all the Republicans and the Democrats came together to support this.

That should mean, we'll see if it does, that if the Putin faction try to go against Johnson and oust him, both the Republicans and the Democrats will have his back and protect his job. That puts him in a better position than ever before, and may allow him to finally cut the cord with the Chaos.

Trump didn't seem to have a problem with it. He gave big pharma everything they asked for and started printing money like it was out of style.

Trump did whatever with big pharma etc. with the information he was given at that time. If after time it proved wrong does not mean it's Trumps fault but his advisors.

As for Biden sending troops to Israel (Please look at my earlier post prediction) if he declares war (which he might) please look to Ukraine for your answer. Declaration of war Biden can suspend/stop elections, whoops Biden stays in power indefinitely.
