Not to mention if Israel wants to shoot them down before they get to Israel, that means they need to fly into Jordan or Iraq, and then the debris would be falling over those countries. Plenty of open space in those countries but hopefully no one on the ground is killed when they come down. And if anyone on the ground is killed, does that country blame Iran or Israel?

Is that legit or is that just Iran misinforming their people about what they're doing?

I would expect the US to at least help Israel shoot some of this stuff down. Israel can shoot down ballistic missiles (I think) although I don't think Iron Dome does that, one of their other systems does. I don't know a ton about missile defense systems.

Iran's stuff isn't exactly super accurate either. It would be rather ironic if one of these things lands in the West Bank and kills a bunch of Palestinians.

Of course the people around here who supposedly care so much about the Palestinians won't say # about that.

To follow up on this, this estimate came from ABC.

The media is so dumb that if a reporter asked one of their sources how long it takes those drones to reach Israel and they said "about an hour" and the reporter got that at 5pm EST, they'd report that as fact even though it's just an off-hand guesstimate.

So don't take that one to the bank.

Trey Yingst on Fox said he thinks the Iranian media claims that they launched ballistic missiles are just propaganda because if that were true they would be approaching pretty soon and there's no alert sirens in Israel yet.

Hopefully he's right.

If this.is nothing more than drones, it's a symbolic attack. Kind of like tossing Kleenex tissues at a foe standing in front of you.
