One should ask these people lamenting the fate of poor Russians in Donbass why their ancestors didn't let the confederate states go. They should be allowed to keep their slaves even today. No matter how much we complain that the Ukrainians treat the Donbass separatists badly, they still behave better than the Union soldiers during the American civil war.

And if we had today the US divided into two independent countries, one still reliant on agriculture and slave work, Putin wouldn't have to save the world from American imperialism, because Americans would be back to the caves. Russia and China would be the only empires and there would be no filthy American bourgeois capitalists hindering their development!
