Elon Musk accused of ‘disinformation campaign’ by Brazilian Supreme Court

Brazilian Supreme Court judge Alexandre de Moraes is shown in Brasilia on Feb. 1, 2024. On April 7, 2024, the judge accused Elon Musk of waging a public “disinformation campaign” because his social media company X would not block certain accounts.

It's rather strange to be accused of misinformation or disinformation because you are not peddling the official narratives and your platform doesn't block/suspend accounts the Government want you to block/suspend on the basis these accounts spread misinformation or disinformation. Brazil has created draconian laws and made demands to force X to block certain accounts but Elon Musk and his social media company said they will no longer comply with the court's order.

Not strange at all. This is the way it has been done all throughout history by those in power, both political and religious.

In fact it has only been since the recent past that Christendom has lost its stranglehold over the empires of the world. There was a time that she lied and murdered with impunity, setting up kings and taking them off the throne. But her time is over. Jehovah has made sure that she does not hold the power she once held. But that doesn't mean her minions still don't try to weld that wicked power and peddle her lies.

There are those on this site even (from the Catholic Church as one example) that will deny all the truths in the Bible, such as the story of Adam and Eve, the deluge of Noah's day, the story of Jonah and the whale, etc; teach lies about God, (that he is an unknowable wicked and evil tyrant Trinity that burns people forever in vindictive hate) and denigrate God's true servants with with slander and lies and smears and name calling. This is the way it has always been for both the political and religious. Blind guides leading the blind. Full of hatred, ready to silence any and all truth that gets out.

So The Brazilian Supreme Court couldn't find any facts and evidence to create a Community Note ???

Bolsonaro was like you said very much right and I would say extremist. Thats just my opinion of the dude. I think Xue back himself into a corner and didn't realize it.

I'm not sure of "the stance by Elon Musk".

I think Musk's views were initially prompted by the popularity of the rhetoric of Donald Trump and his supporters, but Musk is a business man, and has changed his directives according to majority opinion, and also Truth Social has now a direct competitor to his IP, so he doesn't wish to drive custom away from his business.
