Me too. I have several remixes of it by Apollo 440, too.

Saw BOC on that tour, too.

Oddly enough, am wearing a Tyranny and Mutation tee shirt right now.

Two hours to go to vaccine activation, mass zombification, depopulation event, (insert favourite doom porn here), and counting.

Here in the UK we only get a partial eclipse and it's cloudy and raining. As usual.

I had a pair of eclipse glasses from 2017 that I was going to view this solar eclipse with but I read this morning that we should not use the glasses from 2017. Walmart and home depot and most Dollar Generals were sold out as of this morning. So, I went old school and made a viewer out of a shoe box.

Can't you just use a strip of glass smoked with a match or a lighter?

NB - this is not medically approved advice, do your own research, no liability for injury accepted etc.

A bit of smoked trout is probably not a good idea, either.

Not sure, but I don't think Ted Baxter is on the inner-circle memo list.

Totality just ended here. I basked in almost 4 1/2 minutes of totality. What a wondrous sight.

that's just plain false. We had 77% here and I could tell we were getting close to the peak just by looking outside. It wasn't a major amount of difference, but it was a difference and it was absolutely noticable.

Attempted a pic. Took a few. This was the best I came up with.

John Robert's is getting pretty old and old people say weird things cause their minds don't work that great anymore, I just think he lost thought and his lips were moving faster then his brain can work because he's so old now.

Anyways thats what I think. Lips moving faster then his brain could process what's going on do to old age

So where I am it's gonna only be 40%-50% so I probably won't even notice that it got any darker outside, right?

Even here in northern Canada I found it very strange that all the school kids must remain inside for the entire day and are even advised to stay homes

My wife is a teacher and was telling me this morning how all the recesses today are canceled and the school will be pretty much locked down today. There isn’t even an eclipse here……

We are at 90%.
Just went outside and looked around.
It's kinda dark, like on a rainy day.
The blue of the sky looks washed out and full of smoke.
But otherwise ... it just looks like any other day.
Little weird ... but not bad.

The first logical question one should ask is, Which large earthquake affected the Northeast 140 years ago in 1884?

A 5.2 in New York city, making this the 140 year mark, and that a misinterpreted headline.

The most significant tremors in New York City occurred in 1884, when a magnitude 5.2 earthquake with an epicenter off Coney Island shook the city. That earthquake was about four times as strong as Friday's, and its epicenter was dozens of miles closer to the city.

But who needs logic?

That could have a time traveling headline from 2026, when it will be 140 years since The Great Charleston Eathquake.

So keep it up in case it's a time-slip TV transmission doomsday prediction.

Idea of a cheap and hurt-free trick to see the eclipse:
Get an aluminium film (or something that does not let light pass) and make a pin size hole, hold it to somewhere to see the light coming thru and hitting the surface. Dont look at the sun and just watch the surface. (I just came up with the theory, if someone tries this please let me know haha)

Wow you sounds like you're an expert!

How many eclipses have you experienced and photographed? Personally I have only done 4...

I have photographed multiple eclipses and you didn't notice much at 77% in fact I will bet you my house! No automatic lights came on, no dimmer switches were activated.

Here is one of my first in 2012!
What um...percent you think that is? Cause I am gonna tell you bud it's more than 80%! I know I had to calculate it!

Here is Totality in 2017! Got some cool prominences on that one! You of course know what those are having studied and seen so many eclipses right...

Heck here is today! COMPLETELY negligible! Looks like pacman kinda though! lol

So tell me...no no actually show me the difference! Like I mentioned TWILIGHT doesn't happen until nearly complete totality. In fact when I viewed the last annular eclipse in Oregon due to clouds it was hardly noticeable of course it dims but it is not the same as totality!
Also here is science that pesky part that drives people crazy! It's not just plain false pal it's scientifically true...
"There is no such thing as a 99% total solar eclipse," Dr. Rick Fienberg, Project Manager, AAS Solar Eclipse Task Force at the American Astronomical Society, said in a press briefing. "Just like there's no such thing as being 99% pregnant — it's all or nothing."
You can tell me it was what you think you observed, which I cannot refute, however evidence doesn't even back you up!
You can also apologize for telling me it was absolutely false, but I doubt you will!
