Abortion is the indiscriminate ending of the life of an innocent unborn human.

YOUR opinion.

Of which has nothing to do with me -- or my thinking on the matter.

No.

I stated a fact.

That is all.

NO -- it is your opinion.

Some others agree -- but not all.

I support LIVING CHILDREN -- this world does not need one more unwanted child.

Not ONE woman needs to say: "Hey! I popped it out -- I did my part". Now it's "potluck baby" to whoever steps up -- or they don't.

I'm thinking the way to resolve the abortion discussion in this country is to leave it all solely up to people who have a uterus.

The individual who has a uterus.

It is no one else's business.

Why does having a uterus allow you to decide what should live and what should die? This is a debate to be had by all. Is it morally wrong or isn't it? How as a society do we decide when it is OK to kill and when its not?

My personal belief is I'm OK with it as long as the guy has a say in the decisions since he helped create the baby. I've never thought it was fair that a woman gets to decide to have the child without the man having any choice he will just have to pay child support if he wanted the child or not. I think if women are the only one to decide as you said then they should handle all responsibilities on their own and not go after the man. Unless he wants to have the child.

AGAIN -- I support LIVING CHILDREN. You let me know when every child in this world is cared for, sheltered, fed, educated, loved, etc.

Then we can talk about: "Hey! I popped it out -- I did my part".

Oh the humanity.....
Imagine all the children who were adopted or left to grandparents to raise. Don't they deserve love and an opportunity to live. I'm sure there are countless success stories, and while sometimes tough these are examples of overcoming the odds thst make life the splender it is. We need more love in the world not more abortions.

Biden holds out an Olive Branch to Floridians with his left hand, and when they reach to accept it, he stabs them in the forearm with a kitchen knife, using his right hand!

Today, the BIDEN Administration cancelled the discount tens of thousands of Floridians receive on their Hurricane Flood Insurance. No reason. Just evil Joe, and his evil minions, at work...hating RED states.

So you think that the woman has 4 days to decide? The zygote stage ends usually by the 5th day after fertilization. So then is it alive do we have to wait for a heart beat? Do we allow it until then say 30 to 35 days? They get genitalia roughly about 8vweeks and science at that point considers the baby a fetus. Should we wait until they start kicking? The ultimate question is where do we draw the line

I think the worry from some Democrats in Florida is that an "active" Biden endorsement will make the ballot measure a target of partisan politics which could lead to "some" pro-life Republicans and Independents to vote against it simply to spite Joe Biden.

I think that pro-life Republicans and Independents are going to vote against an abortion rights ballot initiative regardless of whether or not Joe Biden stuck his nose into their election.

Especially knowing that a ballot measure is not the end of the story, that there would be time enough to switch my position next time.

What next time? There won't be a "next time" in Florida. Either this measure passes, or Florida sees Ron DeSantis' 6 week abortion ban. The only hope for Florida residence in that scenario is for a future Supreme Court to reinstate the right.

Maybe they should keep their legs together and or use one of the many forms of birth control out there. The biggest problem I have with abortion is that it’s carelessly being used as a form of birth control when there’s other options, that’s irresponsible and reckless.

Because it all happens in the woman's uterus.

This is a debate to be had by all.

What? Every time? No it isn't.

...when it is OK to kill and when its not?

That isn't the question. The question is "Is it moral to deprive a woman of bodily autonomy because of the contents of her uterus, or simply because she has one?"

My personal belief is I'm OK with it as long as the guy has a say in the decisions since he helped create the baby. I've never thought it was fair that a woman gets to decide to have the child without the man having any choice he will just have to pay child support if he wanted the child or not.

So, it really isn't a moral question for society to decide who lives and who dies, after all. It's about "the guy" who knocked her up to being able to control what the woman does with her body. He should be the one to decide, since he would have to pay $$ if she chooses life. If he doesn't have a choice to choose abortion, neither should she.

Hypocrite!

If you have a problem with it -- don't do it.

It is a biological mechanism that happens with all mammals.

However, humans have a lot more going on than reproducing themselves for survival of their species.

It's called CHOICE.

So, they're getting a financial penalty for not following the post disaster rules.

Taxpayers are in the business of killing innocent children, and pregnant women, in Gaza and elsewhere.

The majority of taxpayers are not in favor of supporting foreign wars. US taxpayets aren't buying how the Ukrainian is framed "a battle for democracy". While Israel, along with every other nation, has a right to defend itself the US taxpayer should not be footing the bill.

What if Women start using abortion for economic reasons only? (like many do now) Is that "medically" necessary OK ? 💥

And if abortion is to be funded publicly, why would that make it all "no one else's business", especially if payoffs and theft get involved? 😉

Their body.

Procreation is a biological mechanism that all mammals do. It is not special.

I'm all for free government abortion.

Churches aren't taxed. I'm paying for the church down the street.

Whatabout abortion for purely economic reasons?? You failed to address that one. 😉

What business is it of yours?

Again -- no one's business but the one making the decision.

Its actually big business.
The real argument is not about having abortions because the pro-abortion movement had an agreement up to a certain time but that wasn't good enough and that gets us to the real reason there is such a fight for late term abortions...its the market for selling body parts. That is what this fight is about. So many are falsely claiming its about womens reproduction rights but those people have been hoodwinked into fighting for late term abortions in the name of a marketplace selling aborted baby parts for various medical, cosmetic and other experimental endevours.

"Next time" is the next ballot measure... One of the good things about free elections is that anything elected is only as permanent as the next election. There is always a next time.

The rest of the article goes on to say the county is disputing this idea that they are "skirting federal rules" and that the Biden administration is worng. Two sides to the story. The problem seems to be that the dictiorial Biden administration isnt willing to hear an appeal on the mater were the dispute can be addressed.

What's worse it sounds as if the Biden administration doesn't even know for sure that the county skirted federal rules; and that there is an information gap and the Biden administration made their decision summarily.

I don't know if that amounts to the Biden administration penalizing Florida residents for unethical reasons... but I do know if I was a resident of that county I'd be upset with the Biden Administration for their decision... and it might not matter if a few bureaucrats at the town hall found a creative way to bend the rules, why should I the homeowner be penalized for that?
