Two more high-level California Democrats have left that out-of-touch party, become Republicans, and endorsed MAGA TRUMP.

Former California Democratic State Senate President Gloria Romero announced Wednesday that she has defected to the Republican Party.

“In this Capitol behind me, I served as both Senate Democratic Caucus chair and the Senate majority leader. But today I say goodbye. Adios! I’ve had enough,” she said.

Romero announced her decision at a press conference hosted by Former Fox News Commentator and fellow Republican Steve Hilton, who posted it live to his Twitter/X page.

Romero was joined by Republican California Rep. Kevin Kiley, and Assembly Republican leader James Gallagher, as well as other Republican legislators.

Notably, Romero’s announcement comes just two weeks after California State Senator Marie Alvarado-Gil left the Democrat Party, switching her party affiliation to Republican, as the Globe reported.

I'm shocked. the media has always been friendly to Donald J. Trump. The only thing more normal than the MSM loving Trump, is your genuine concern for his wellbeing.

You were probably just overwhelmed with all the Harris interviews happening now. There are so many, it's hard to keep up, but as they say, if you put in the work, good things will come. And she has been working hard on those interviews. She has adopted most of the GOP platform, she might even endorse Project 2025 by next week. Perhaps that's who it was written for?

I have written several times that really smart and educated Democrats who have been for 50 years are switching. There are a few I follow for perspective and are not politically engaged, but holy hell it is amazing how many talk about how bad the democratic party is today. I feel they are still Democrats, but their party has gone so far left progressively these lifelong Democrats are moderate Republicans.
