If they are guilty of a crime. Then they should be investigated and charged under due process.

I like sports. But think the NFL with its subsidised billion dollar stadiums is a parasite. Doesn’t mean I wish them harm or dead. Seems there are lots of varieties of parasites that entertain people.

you can choose not to put any money into the pockets of NFL teams, the law compels us to give money to the royals, a vast difference

Not when a state or city pass a tax to fund the stadium.

Vote for someone that will amend whatever document or law to stop funding pieces of UK history.

I wouldn’t travel across the Atlantic for a football / soccer game. I would travel to the UK to see historical sites. Including things related to the royal family.

There is no one, whenever an MP steps foot in parliament, the first thing they are required to do is swear an oath to the monarch, Thats why you don't see Sinn Fein members in parliament.

There is absolutely no equivalence between sports teams and the descendants of the Normans that conquered this country.

That's a historical thing but since our Civil War we have a Constitutional Monarchy which defers to Parliament.

was the Queen deferring to parliament all those times she got legislation watered down in her favour or was Charles deferring to parliament with his black spider letters?

we get nothing from the royal family, not one thing.
More tourists visit France each year and look what they did to their king?
Our monarch does nothing to curb the worst excesses of our prime ministers. look at Thatcher and the Poll tax, look at Blair and his illegal war, look at Starmer now...

we could save enough to let old people stay warm this winter and we would lose no representation at all if we just let them all have a date with Mme Guillotine

Those black spider letters are old news and didn't change anything.

Like you say, our Monarch has no effect on our PMs.

You can't have it both ways.

That you know about

They can and do, when they care, its carefully hidden from us mostly but occasionally something comes out about say, how the queen influenced the tax regime to benefit the royal family.

So you're saying the recently released video is fake?
You still believe something untoward is going on?

Honest question; are you really so paranoid about everything because all you seem to post about is how simply everything is a conspiracy and the end of the world is nigh.

Relax my man.
Go for a walk in the country and watch and contemplate on nature and the wonderful world we live in.
Smoke a fat one if that's your thing.
Sit outside under the night sky and gaze in awe at the expanse and greatness of it all.
Chill with a few beers and a few mates.
Listen to some music or read a book or two.

I do a lot of all those things.
I also like to sit outside on my front and chat to my neighbours about our gardens, the bairns and grandbairns, important things like football, cricket and horse racing and generally gossip about and to each other.

The world is still going to be here long after we aren't.
I worry about very little I have no control over or that I can't influence.
Cherish and enjoy that which you hold dear and live life......its far too short for all the worry, stress and seriousness you seem to carry around with you.

I hope I haven't offended, genuinely well intentioned.

I suppose it was a matter of time before someone popped up to claim it's AI.

Get a life?

You were wrong. Just deal with it and move on.
