Vladimir Putin used '22 million fake votes' to secure election victory, study shows
Vladimir Putin was declared the victor of the 2024 Russian presidential election with 87.29 percent of the vote despite widespread protests at polls.
Vladimir Putin secured his sixth term in office thanks to at least 22 million "fake" votes, research from independent Russian publication Novaya Europe found.
The publication's calculation was based on a system devised by mathematician Sergey Shpilkin, which estimated the share of "irregular" votes.

Who told you that he voted?.
...anti-war candidates were not allowed to run.
There still was voter intimidation, however, according to Golos, Russia’s prominent independent election watchdog, noting it received reports of citizens being pressured to vote in over 60 Russian regions. On Sunday, voters were searched at polling stations, and some reported police checking their ballots before they were cast or peering over their shoulder while they filled them out, Golos said.

There was no election in Russia the other day ...
your Czar was crowned again.
After election night, disappointment with the results of the elections in the country as a whole.... plane, Moscow and plenary sessions in the State Duma. It must be admitted that the authorities today have all the tools (DEG, three-day voting, administrative resources and electoral legislation) to legitimize their political hegemony. But unfortunately, the result of the actions of this government was only an increase in the numbers of imaginary support, and not a real increase in the incomes and well-being of the residents of our country. And I am convinced that the time for social justice will definitely come in our country. Our history teaches us this. After all, as Victor Hugo said: there is something stronger than all the troops in the world: it is an idea whose time has come!
