But you're probably thinking of the weapons depot in Deliatyn? That's actually in Ukraine.

RT is refering to a fake story about NATO commanders in Ukraine being killed.

Yeah, but it seems to be based on the official Russian claim that they destroyed an arms depot in Ukraine north of the Carpathians.

Hypersonic speed does not change the navigation system's operation. It works the same way at any speed.

In all fairness, given the weakness of Western leaders, if that did happen the response would be exactly what's happened: nothing.

That's not evidence though, of course.

I do try, some honest members do come here to learn.

No NATO Generals or Colonels were harmed, apparently. Except in the minds of some folk with vivid imaginations.

To put it politely.

I don't doubt Russia's capability to hit targets such as a ammunition storage but i don't believe NATO commanders got killed.

Maybe. But it never happened so we'll never know.

Interesting that some seem to think giving hypersonic missiles to terrorists is a good idea.

In addition, the use of Zircon hypersonic missiles from sea-based....

Does the navy have any ships left capable of firing those?

I don't think they can be launched from underwater?

There's no reason for generals to have been there anyway

Exactly. They weren't there. It's misinformation.

To put it politely.

I want to explain to you the difference between “Dagger” and “Zircon”.
"Dagger" is launched from an aircraft that already reaches a speed of more than 2 Mach. That is, the rocket itself accelerates initially. She only needs to accelerate to hypersonic speed.
Zircon is launched from stationary platforms. That is, in the initial stage it does not have an initial speed, but reaches hypersonic speed on its own. These platforms in Russia are sea-based (from surface ships or submarines), or simple ground-based launchers.

Thus, the Russian military forces do not stand still, but are constantly modernizing, unlike the American ones, whose entire hypersound program has been officially curtailed.

That actual plasma tech that the US is supposed not to have:

www.space.com...

Still, the "plasma cloud" the OP claims the Khinzal "uses" remains simply the result of friction with the atmosphere at hypersonic speeds.

Not some Wunderwaffen.

If that's supposed to insinuate I think it's a good idea, you couldn't be more wrong.

It has been shown to you that this is simply not true yet you continue to repeat this whilst producing no evidence.

Any comment on HAWC?
