I don’t, what people call trauma is just life, and those that suggest trauma tend to live the easiest trauma free life of all. They have no clue to real trauma…

You make an interesting point. I was thinking more about some of the cases
a judge may have to preside over. Some being absolute horrors involving
children and such. I know I would be some what traumatized.

not everybody agrees with how to interpret it

Your DEI activist justices aren’t trying to interpret anything.
They want to change it to fit their sick agendas.
It’s laughable how any of them can be traumatized except Kavanaugh who arguably has a legit reason.

You do you, Vermillion. In the meantime, according to Justice John Roberts, corporations, like Coka Cola, Hersey's and Disney are people!

Disney is half the ‘person’ they used to be.😉
They are now DeSantis’ bitch LoL
I have a feeling the supreme court is going to look even better during trumps next 4 year term.

I'm sure that's exactly what the framers had in mind. I wonder why they had the fortitude to declare a slave 3/5th a person but neglected to say how many board members it takes to make Mickey Mouse a person!

Don't get your hopes up man. They will stop him by any means necessary. He's not gonna be president again. Lie, cheat, kill, it's all on the table. They would nuke the country if it thought it would advance their ideology. They're no different that Muslim extremists in their dedication and willingness to do anything.

I wonder why there was an Amendment passed to fix that instead of someone just interpreting the "living" Constitution differently...

Because it's not a living document. That is a fact of history you cannot change.

If you don't like part of the Constitution and want to change it, you need to convince enough of the population to get an Amendment passed. Any other mechanism to get around it is unconstitutional and illegal.

Even the dumbest leftist must be able to understand that having individual people be able to just willy nilly decide the law, as written, is stupid and pretend it means something else would lead to anarchy. That isn't how a civilized society functions.

If you really wanna go back to the Wild West, that's not gonna work out well for you.

They’ve been wrong many times, SS, Roe, chevron etc.
Those stupid decisions will get corrected in due time, just like Disney is getting theirs corrected.

Ah! Is there? I must have missed it. Which constitutional amendment says how many board members it takes to make Micky Mouse a person? Please, do explain it me like I'm a 6th grader.

I love how you have to pretend I wasn't talking about the 3/5th of a person issue.

When you have to make yourself look rock stupid to try to support your position, it's probably time to reconsider your position.

Okay, carry on.

You sure know how to skew things. This idea of Corporate Personhood where a corporation....

juridical personality is the legal notion that a juridical person such as a corporation, separately from its associated human beings (like owners, managers, or employees), has at least some of the legal rights and responsibilities enjoyed by natural persons. In most countries, a corporation has the same rights as a natural person to hold property, enter into contracts, and sue or be sued.

The arguments go back to the late 1700s and have carried forward into modern times. So, it is not John Roberts but precedence that has gone on for a couple of hundred years. You should give old Roberts a break he has voted more times than not in your favor.

The Democrats think the number on the SC should be just enough to have more liberals than conservatives...lol geez

Alas. The Framers left the number of Supreme Court Justices up to Congress. If it were up to me there would be 3 Justices for each of the 13 Circuit Court.

any way you look at it, SCOTUS gave rights to and indemnified the ventriloquist's dummy. And the masses said "Amen".

Guess what? You're nobody. I can post whatever I want. I don't have to respond to your straw man.

I replied to you pointing out that it's factually wrong to believe the Constitution is a "living document" and using a well-known example.

You're trying to change the subject because you're intellectually weak and can't defend your baseless positions.

Demand I post about the weather next. I'll ignore that too.

You're still wrong about the Constitution and the responsibility of SCOTUS justices, like you're always wrong about everything because you can't think for yourself. Sorry I busted a hole in your fairy tale.

Post more deflection, son.

I just wanted you to back the claim you made, that an amendment cleared up my query on how many board members it takes to make Micky Mouse a person.

I love how you posted something that disproves what you're claiming. Clearly I was talking about the 3/5ths compromise.

Only someone who physically does not have a brain could think I was talking about Micky Mouse.

And before you go cry to the mods, I'm not saying you don't have a brain. You're just pretending you don't have one. You know i wasn't talking about freaking Micky Mouse. But you're backed into a corner and that's your only out, so you're pretending you're dumb as a fencepost.

I won't engage you any further on this issue. Keep up the trolling though.

Citizens United didn't make corporations into people. It just extended The First Amendment to include entities. 😀

Besides, The Hillary Clinton Campaign (an entity receiving money) was the richest and most powerful political campaign entity in History, and it got beat. 😃
