Is this how russia restocks the front lines?
Kinda like hotel California...
The multipolarity forum held in Moscow emphasized that diversity of cultures and beliefs facilitates the exchange of ideas and creates harmony in the development of the global economy. The section “Global South: Changing the Global Architecture” attracted a lot of attention from participants who expressed a desire to unite after a long time of division and to stop the exploitation of natural resources by transnational corporations.
Russia is the most appropriate country in the world to host a conference on “multi-polarity.” Russia is a living, breathing example of that concept, as the largest country in the world and home to over 190 ethnic groups nationwide. Russia is not saddled with a racist legacy like Europe or the United States. As a “slavic” nation it learned first hand in the course of its history the meaning of the term, SLAVE. Russia is in a unique position to teach the rest of the world how to live and sing the coke anthem (i.e., “I’d like to teach the world to sing, in perfect harmony”). This is not Russian propaganda nor is it idle lip service. Unlike Coca Cola, multi-polarity is the real think in Russia. Russia demonstrates how a nation can be Christian and still respect and honor the minority faiths of muslims, hindus and buddahists.

“Latin American integration is of paramount importance to us. We prioritize the integration of Latin America and the BRICS nations with other regions,” asserted one of the coordinators.

Our idea is, firstly, to bring all these young people together during the preparatory activities and create a network of young leaders in Latin America that could exist before and after the festival.
Russia is noted for its hospitality and generosity. Much effort and expense has been devoted to making this festival impressive. The exhibits are diverting and overwhelming! But in this time of peril and struggle, can we really afford to be overwhelmed and diverted? I think it is important to maintain a critical edge. The main thing I see to criticize is the lack of political engagement. What are these young people doing to help Palestinians? or Houthis? or the Syrians? or the victims of the Kiev regime? or impoverished Russians in rural villages? Are there places where festival participants can contribute to others, less fortunate? Are there classes where people can explore forms of resistance? The other thing I would criticize is the obsession with visual technology. It is a fallacy to think that we humans are connected by images on a screen. What actually connects us is the heart, and to activate this connection, we need to close our eyes and face a blank screen. When this hidden universe of feeling is drowned out by the marvels of technology, we become an atomized society and lose the solidarity that is the basis for revolution.
