Here's something I don't understand.

Why didn't Fani and her boyfriend just voluntarily leave the case?

The people pulling the strings had to know about their relationship, so why didn't they just say leave?

Step down, let your assistant DA takeover. Take a job at a political non-profit.

One thing I learned in my life, is when criminals and unethical people are caught the first time it's
only the first time being caught not the first time doing the act.

Who knows what else Fani did for her own gain or for political reasons.

Someone may be sitting behind bars right now or a victime left without justice because of Fani. Only these people didn't have money for the same type of defense.

If your rich you can afford a long drawn out case, if your not you take the deal you can live with and have your nest egg still when you retire.

In cases like these that is their option, burn through everything they own and maybe win, and die destitute, or take a plea and keep what you have.
