Looks like The Zel of Ukraine has canceled the elections scheduled for March 31 !!

Apparently the Martial Law they're under has been extended for 90 more days too !!

Anybody seeing a pattern and like maybe Biden getting giddy feelings ?

The Zelensky-led government has transformed the country into a totalitarian dictatorship, as there is no semblance of a liberal democracy left in Ukraine.

A very significant political event occurred in Ukraine earlier this month, and almost nobody noticed.


President Volodymyr Zelensky, the leader of the war-torn country, just received approval from his parliament to extend Martial Law another 90 days. There have been many parliamentary extensions of the wartime mandate, but this one carried special significance because the 2024 presidential elections in Ukraine were scheduled for March 31, 2024, coinciding with the end of Zelensky’s five year term. Now that Martial Law is in place to cover that time period, Ukraine’s presidential elections have been canceled indefinitely.

Didn't realize electoral process can be canceled. Almost makes the entire apparatus feel optional at best and fictional at worst.

Ummm...in light of the fact that Ukraine loses more land...daily...

In the last week...three more population centers were taken by the Russian military...

Perhaps...when this conflict is over...Ukraine won't need any further elections...because Ukraine as a viable state will no longer exist...

Perhaps that's the real distinction that lives at the heart of cancelling the election...


Time will tell...and everyone knows by now that Russia will just continue to add more thousands of square miles and further territories to it's collective...

Unless of course Ukraine votes to rescind their constitutional decree about not negotiating with the Russians...

Kind of moronic...to pass a law stating your not going to negotiate terms in a conflict...while being decimated in said conflict...

I can definitely see the reasoning behind this decision.
Many variables that can make voting deadly for the everyday person in Ukraine.
Then you got all the pilotical stuff they have going on. So much it's very hard to keep track of it all when trying to do the same with countless other regions.
