The former FBI informant charged with lying about the Bidens’ dealings in Ukraine told investigators after his arrest that Russian intelligence officials were involved in passing information to him about Hunter Biden, prosecutors said Tuesday in a new court filing, noting that the information was false.

Any ideas where we might go to find reputable non msm information concerning these new statements coming out from the prosecutors in the ex-FBI agent Smirnov case?

It's kind of a shame that the Lap-top data backs up all the information on Hunter and joe Bidens interconnections with these business dealings and those drug and gun charges. What I find funny is how Hunter's attorney is trying to sell the idea that the FBI had confused Sawdust with Coke. I mean really?

Its IRONIC,its almost liek the OPPOSITE of what they tried to get trump with. So NOW we are to believe the FBI when they claim someones lying after they verified the laptop themselves?

It's time that we need to have a conversation about whether or not certain members of our government are just useful fools or if they're actively working with Russia to undermine democracy on this country.

Hur has already refuted Barr's statement that the investigation into Smirnov was given to Hur in 2020.

On that topic, the timing on Smirnov's arrest makes it seem like it was only done because Hunter's lawyer was asking for materials on him during discovery. Materials that Hur was slow on handing over and Hunter's lawyer was about to go to the judge about it.

We also need to look at people like Comer, Grassley, and Jordan. How much did they know about Smirnov's ties to Russian intelligence when they launched an impeachment based on the form he submitted to the FBI.

If we were at war with Russia, some might define these actions as treason.

You are aware the are multiple copies of the hard drive, right? The one given to the New York Post by Rudy has been shown to have significantly modified after it was out of Hunter's possession.

The current revelations certainly support the claims made by Lev Parnas, Rudy's fixer in Europe, that the hard drive Rudy ended up with was planted by Russian intelligence. For some reason though, Comer refuses to let Parnas to testify before Congress, despite his willingness.

Then we also have Steve Bannon on tape saying he gave the hard drive to indicted Chinese businessman, Guo Wengui, to make his own additions.

The FBI used him as a CHS for years with great success. So based on your link of thinking, the FBI is corrupt and should be disbanded and arrested. I finally agree with you.

They also have all of Lev's communications from his year or so working for Guiliani and Trump traipsing around Ukraine and Eastern Europe searching for dirt on Hunter. They got them in 2019. Including his communications with the CEO of Burisma. Lev also states that the GOP received those communications. They knew the 1023 was false.

It appears it was about smearing them. As always, after the big revelations, Comer, Grassley, etc would always state when called out on things in interviews it was, "if true", "possibly", "maybe". But Maga only listen to the accusation as if it is true. Also Comer early in the week stated it was unlikely there would be a Biden impeachment vote.

It's no wonder that they refused to allow Hunter to testify publicly. I'm betting his lawyers already have info regarding the false claims that would blow up in the face of the committee.

Doesn't matter where it comes from when it is true. The facts are they spin every possible angle to keep the narrative alive. Smirnov was arrested because the information he gave the FBI was false. That's what started the whole unraveling we're currently seeing.

Smirnov in fact had only routine business dealings with the company in 2017 and made the bribery allegations after he “expressed bias” against Joe Biden, who was then a presidential candidate, prosecutors said in court documents

So far Comer is batting a zero. Everyone of his witnesses that have testified against Biden are either under indictment, connected to Russian intelligence, or both.

And that's not counting some of the other early sources for this narrative that we're outed as Russian agents in 2020 and had their visas revoked.
