We should all be beyond whataboutism by now don't you think? I get it, Biden should not be running for postus again. But the point is neither should
Trump.
And yes, he made a simple mistake by conflating two different women from two very different political backgrounds in his mind. Yes, we all got that
and hopefully we understand that we all do it, just as you point out. However there is more to learn from his gaffe.
To me, it's that in his conflation of those two women, and he describes it pretty well, they are both on the same side to him at least. At best. And
what is it that would make it so easy for him to accidentally conflate them in his head as he suggests? Simply that they both stand up to him. They
both speak their minds about him and point out that he is not who he pretends to be. Hence he accidentally conflates their names. I get it. I"m
Trump's age and I GET IT.
But what he does then, rather than admit it is to lie about it. Seeking any excuse to cover his very sad gaffe is to lie about it claiming he was
being sarcastic and in doing so claiming that rather than ''conflating'' the two, that he was ''interposing''.
The point being that neither Biden nor Trump should be extolled as any kind of national or world leader. They are both old dodgers who need to be put
out to rest.
