Depends what it's meant to do?

We don't know.

All is speculation at this point.

But it seems to be causing some concern.

We have been talking about pure speculation .

So I present this a Nuclear powered orbiting Space drone carrier that launches drones that can navigate and target satellites .

BAM someone hire me!!!

I shall rule the World ........

I'm not trying to "prove" anything. By the way, not suggesting nukes, I suggested it may be a nuclear powered satellite.

I also clearly said we just don't know.

Please read my posts before going off on one.

Honest question why would a nuclear powered satellite be a threat in your opinion ?

An on-board nuclear reactor would provide such a satellite with the potential for extended reserve power, without the need for frequent refueling.

Longer missions.
Virtually unlimited intra- and trans-orbital maneuverability, using highly efficient high-power ion thrusters without the need for massive solar panel arrays.
Excess reserve power for both defensive and offensive weapons.
IR signatures of functioning reactors in orbit would further degrade Earth-based astronomic research.

And of course, there's always the prospect of a malfunctioning reactor de-orbiting, coming in "hot" (in more than one sense of the word!),

And totally ruining somebody's day in a what would amount to a very big "dirty bomb" radiological dispersion device.

Question back:

Just how would such a "False Flag" be accomplished? How would a "real" attack be identified? What do mean by the term "Nuclear Laser"? Do understand the requirements and limitations of an EMP?

Russia’s Advances on Space-Based Nuclear Weapon Draw U.S. Concerns

The United States has informed Congress and its allies in Europe about Russian advances on a new, space-based nuclear weapon designed to threaten America’s extensive satellite network, according to current and former officials briefed on the matter.

A Space Based Nuclear Powered Satellite Equipped with a Fine Focusing Targeting Laser Or Microwave Projector Capable of Painting a Target either in Earths Lower Atmosphere or on a Ground Target such as say , a Neighborhood in Maui Hawaii ? I am just Speculating here ........*)

They can't even figure out how to upgrade their 50-year-old oil infrastructure, how can they do that...lol

So here's something no one has seemingly thought to bring up, at least that I have read:

Perhaps Russia beginning to use nuclear reactors to power their satellites Is a "Good" thing!

Since the dawn of the "Space Age" (oddly enough, closely following the dawn of the "Atomic Age"), humanity's progress in the development an exploration of Space has been hindered by the lack of power. Power to propel our vehicles through the vastness of Space. Power to sustain the life support systems needed to keep us alive, both in space and on any planet we might wish to explore. Power, even, to communicate from the depths of Space with those still on Earth.

Chemical rockets got us into Space, but they are far too weak to get us far. And they need to be refueled regularly to continue to provide power. Batteries work, but they are bulky, and not well suited to the environments and demands encountered "off-world".

Nuclear energy solves these problems, but mankind has feared the potential consequences of utilizing nuclear power plants away from the confines of heavy radiation shielding ubiquitous on Earth, but, unfeasible in space.

Perhaps that "Rubicon" is now about to be crossed, and new horizons await us?

No. The link I would have to help is dead. Died of stomach cancer about 18 years ago. He did however work for Martin and then Lockheed. He was not allowed to talk about everything he saw or did but in the end he did let some out. I have no notes. Just memories. The only thing I can say is this....from him.

You know , what I mentioned is not out of the Realm of Possibility . That type of Tech has been around for awhile now .

Project Excalibur

" The concept involved packing large numbers of expendable X-ray lasers around a nuclear device, which would orbit in space. During an attack, the device would be detonated, with the X-rays released focused by each laser to destroy multiple incoming target missiles.[1] Because the system would be deployed above the Earth's atmosphere, the X-rays could reach missiles thousands of kilometers away, providing protection over a wide area."

This in Turn would also Produce a EMP Wave .

It is not my problem if you can’t accept the knowledge given to you.

I know it is not just me who knows that no nation of the world has the capability to put a satellite in orbit, because my thoughts are a gift, meaning they don’t originate in my own head.

Is THIS what House Intel Chairman Turner damaged his reputation for?

Russia wants to destroy satellites: thehill.com...

Yawn.... Why would this common-sense desire to destroy satellites cause Turner to become so anxious?

A couple of bucks for tin foil is cheaper than destroying satellites.

I don’t even bother, and I still can’t even feel the microwaves pinging me.

(Unless you count all the disturbing dreams…)

This narrative contains falsehoods and insinuations, akin to the Bible.

The notion of having steady hands at the wheel is a allusion to Jesus.

Off-topic. This story is not about the Bible. Where are the moderators?

Uh didn’t I say that?

Who is my Olde English doppelgänger Audreagassulke?

I must have missed the copycat…

And I am not violating any Ts and Cs by talking about conspiracies concerning satellites.

You see satellite launches are cover stories (veils) for UFOs.

Clearly somebody hates playing tennis with me, and is crying to the moderators to ban me.
