all we need to do is look at how 9/11 went down, and then look at how much the government can just ignore or even hide these days. As for a ground detonation, well it doesn't matter as long as a mushroom cloud of radiation is seen and reportable by media.

If the cargo is coming from China (for example) the whole shipping container can be ignored until it's time to blow it up, then Russia can just be blamed. While you bring up a lot of good points, those points only work if the government is playing in favor of the American people. If that government is playing to protect itself from being exposed, then you can bet it will be "anything goes".

I would be more inclined to believe that the "Space-Russia-something (nukes?) threat stems from a Russian plan to begin using full-fledged nuclear reactors to power a new class of space-based asset, rather than actual warheads.

Massive available power boost over batteries, solar panels, or radio isotope-based RTG's.

The news spin might get the details wrong.....

The Russian satellite may be nuclear-powered satellite, and not nuclear-armed satellite .

And Nuclear-powered satellite may mean it`s a nuclear reactor powering a satellite with an energy weapon (microwaves likely)

I think this whole thing is a distraction and not what is really going on. This has been known and speculated since Reagan and the Space Wars program.

Look squirrel!

Something else. Seems everyone forgot about the Miami mall thing.

This narrative contains falsehoods and insinuations, akin to the Bible.

The notion of having steady hands at the wheel is a allusion to Jesus.

However, what prompts the necessity for us to seek reassurance that steady hands are indeed guiding the wheel?

Even if they put nukes in space, it’s more of a treaty violation than a “new threat”.

My guess is the biggest difference would be a quicker strike since ICBMs wouldn’t have to launch from Russia, go into space, and renter.

But is that much different than prior times when they had bombers in the air and subs in the water at any given time?

I still imagine we’d notice a sat launch, and our interception techniques would be similar to reentering ICBMs albeit a shorter response time.

Plus we have subs and ICBMs, not like any act would go unpunished.

To me it shows Russia is willing to break that treaty and maybe even has the need for delivery methods outside the traditional ones. Their navy has been going into disrepair and their air force doesn’t seem very robust. I wonder how the state of their ICBMs is.

Threats In Space “Extremely Concerning”: Space Force Boss

Alarm Raised Over Destabilizing New Russian Threat In Space: Reports

From your first source:

In 2020, Saltzman's predecessor, now-retired Gen. John "Jay" Raymond, had disclosed two Russian tests of a new on-orbit anti-satellite capability involving a small satellite capable of launching a physical projectile. That satellite itself had been deployed by another, slightly larger one in what was dubbed a "nesting doll" configuration.

Russia has expanded their "nesting doll" technology, while China has been developing satellite "inspection and repair" robot satellites.

The Pentagon highlighted in its most recent annual report on Chinese military and security developments, which it released last October. "The Shijian-17 was the PRC’s first satellite with a robotic arm, technology that could be used in a future system for grappling adversary satellites. In October 2021, the PRC launched another satellite with a robotic arm, the Shijian-21, into GEO [geostationary orbit], and, in January 2022, it moved a derelict BeiDou navigation satellite to a high graveyard orbit above GEO."

The Russian space projects stalled years after the USSR collapse , maybe they pushed it last few years and are ready now ...just speculating thought...i dont know .

Ekipazh: Russia’s top-secret nuclear-powered satellite

With powerfull EW satellite they could target whole country , a localized Carrington Event to smash power grid etc...?

But the Look squirrel! is also possible too...

There must be a place where we can place your bets on what this is all about?

1. Russia: Nukes 3-1
2. Middle East: Nukes 10 -1
3. Terrorism Muslim 5-1
4. Terrorism Domestic 20-1
5. Natural Event Earth Origin: 100-1
6. Biological (definitely not created in a Chinese lab): 8-1
7. Aliens! : 1000-1
8. Natural Event Space Origin: 2500-1
9. Any of Points 1,2,3,4,6,7 - but False Flag. Aw hell - any of the points above. 2-1

and so on and so forth.

C'mon man. Whatever happened to White Supremacists being the number one terror threat to America? That's what Mayorkis said in 2021. He's the Homeland Security Secretary, he should know. He wouldn't lie to us.

They have tested them in space. The test was called starfish prime, there wiki about it that should be truthful enough but you could always dig deeper if you wanted.

Perhaps this is a "tit for tat" scenario to arm our (Earth) perimeter against outside attacks from nefareous others and Putin is the one to take the first metaphorical hit with this alledged threat to national security.

"The People" will always be lied to, it's been that way since the first ass whooping me thinks when a leader was a bully and a coward, scared to do his own dirty work and be honest.

People will and have always payed for the big boys toys.

Fingers crossed that Bidden declassifies soon. If he won't meet with our national sheriff's organization, the least he can do is brief the public on national security concerns, especially if doing so is in the interest of national security.

Remember when the media was making fun of the Space Force like it was just some dumb idea of Trump's and hadn't been talked about in the Defense community for decades?

The U.S. launched multiple satellites capable of detecting global missile launches into orbit on Thursday, less than a day after new concerns came to light regarding Russia's space-based weapons capability.

The launch, handled by billionaire Elon Musk's SpaceX, includes six satellites in total. Two belong to the U.S. Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and four others are with the Space Development Agency (SDA).
