Ive read several books on OOBES(Out of Body Experiences)and tried very hard to have one. I believe in OOBES completely. Many hospital operating rooms have objects placed say on top of high shelves in the room. If a patient says they were floating above the whole time looking down then the surgeons may ask if they saw certain shaped and colored objects. In many cases patients have described seeing them without being asked. Keep in mind that the only way to see them is if you were above them! Pretty interesting stuff.

Although I never succeeded in having an OOBE I believe death is a permanent OOBE. If you are conscious of what OOBES are before you die then once you die you will know whats going on be able to control it especially if your able to induce OOBES consciously. Now Im just assuming that the majority of people that die have no clue about astral projection and just drift aimlessly throughout space for eternity. I think this may also explain ghosts.

I believe many ghosts are astral consciousness that do know whats going on and exploit it to the fullest. Many ghosts may also be those who are still alive but just having an OOBE and exploiting it to the fullest. The US has spent millions on astral projection mainly for spying purposes. Do ghosts work for the US government? Who knows. I believe one who is fully aware of astral projection and able to have OOBES at will may have very fulfilling afterlives. We will all know eventually. Very spiritual people who believe in the afterlife very strongly(John Paul II anyone?)would be very likely to expect somekind of afterlife and may still be with us much more than you would ever imagine. Your thoughts please...thank you SoS..
