And my laundry is done and it has been two hours and just one leftist posted here and didn't have a logical rebuttal.

For shame leftists... FOR SHAME!

To be honest, to me the only thing you are good for at this point in American politics is entertainment.

And you fail at that too.

G'Night ATS!

Seems to me, when the Senate passes a bill, and sends it to The House, The House should mark-up that bill, tell the Senate to take this out, change this number and that number, add this here, and then add this, that and the other thing.

Since The House Republicans refused to do that, based on Trump's say so, I think Biden has a point.

That a different animal. That's a House Resolution...not a bill, not a law, just a bunch of uppity House reps making a loud statement.

LOL

What they should do, is take what they're trying to resolve, and incorporate those changes in the existing bill, and send that bill back to the Senate.

I know the bill that got blocked was the same bill. But the Ukraine aid bill on its own just passed the senate… you know that right?

So there was no logical reason for it to be blocked, except that Trump wanted it to be blocked so he can campaign on border security.

It wasn’t a bad deal either, shut the border after 5,000 cross a day, considering they say 10,000+ are crossing everyday, they could’ve halved the amount of people crossing the border… stupid republicans, now they get nothing.

Show us where in that Bill it was guaranteed the Border would be shut at 5000? And of course, HOW would they do it, and how would they handle asylum claims for people that just jumped the Border at non ports of entry? Where is all this in that Bill? Show us please. 😃

I mean, it’s what the Republicans asked for, it’s not even what the Democrats wanted. But Trump got it blocked and now Republicans get nothing.

Again, if there's something that The House Republicans don't like, they should mark-up the bill and send it back.

It was easier to just mark the things they liked about the bill. That's probably why it was sent back unmarked.

I say we make it simple and draw the line.

With upcoming election. It should simply be:

A. Do you vote for the candidate who’s actually serious with showing attention and progress on our border security.

Or B. Do you want open borders?

Because it’s pretty clear which one is more serious about it, and who’s showing delinquency even publicly as a message.

The sh*tshow past 4years has shown that.

The border has been so secured since Obama that you must have immigrant xenophobia and you are 100% a racist and White Nationalist Nazi to think otherwise!

Let's not forget the current administration's idea of a secure border is if it lets in 5000 UNDOCS every day, 7 days a week 365 days a year.

According to the bill, if they're below the 5K mark, then they aren't considered "illegal" any longer.

Joe Biden is trying to deflect responsibility so he will avoid being tried for treason next year. Won't work.
