As a former Cold War Era US Army soldier, it was quite satisfying seeing the USSR collapse. Actually, it was even delightful if I'm honest because it started long before I was born and I was thinking it would last my entire lifetime. Who knows, maybe I will be able to see the Russian dictatorship fall too.I was raised on "Kill a commie for mommie" so, great fun. I figure Ukraine can't stand up to the dictator Putin in the long run. The Vietnam era of American enthusiasm decline will happen. But at least we will see the decline in Russian troops for a bit longer and well, that too is satisfying. Just keep bleeding out for the good of humanity please and I will keep enjoying the illusion of the "Great Russian Bear"
