People forget the Capital was breached while Trump was still speaking at the podium, it wasn't his supporters that breached the capital initiated the "riot".

Trump ended his speech at 1:10pm.

At 1:17pm, Trump's motorcade departed from the elipse.

At 1:19pm the motorcade arrived at the White House. Trump spent hours watching news feeds of the Capitol crowds.

The barriers around the Capitol building were breached at 1:45pm

At 1:59pm the crowd had reached the outer doors and windows and were trying to break in.

"Around 1 PM" isn't that specific.

I would assume that where the approximate qualifier was used (different than other times in the CNN account)
that the timing might be a guess.

And the alleged 1 hour that it would have taken to get to the outer building on CNN's timeline seems to be quite different than in the footage I have seen.

Although clearly they were arresting Proud Boys members (and confiscating guns) before the actual breach.

The pipe bombs were placed the day before, and the armed Proud Boys and Oath Keepers had prepared ahead of the rally on the 6th.

No guns were confiscated during the breach of the Capitol, but police and security were overwhelmed at the time and many of those later arrested were also given charges for firearms and other weapons that they had either on their person or nearby in the Capital on the day.

It is if you want to continue advocating that Trump incited an insurrection....
