So the FAA is more interested in skin color and gender and getting in trans pilots than in safety. Racism and sexism is putting lives in danger. All in the name of hugging on the DEI agenda.

FAA Plan To Reduce The Number of White Males IN Aviation

Footage and more quotes available at the link.

Daily Wire host Matt Walsh posted a thread on X on Wednesday that featured internal footage of Federal Aviation Administration officials “workshopping a plan to reduce the number of white males in aviation.”

The footage obtained by Walsh shows a video conference from April 2022 where acting Deputy Chief Operating Officer Angela McCullough argued for more airline workers to go “from ramp to cockpit,” complaining that Flight Operations is “white-male dominated.” McCullough then argued that the agency needs to “get a little uncomfortable” and “talk about what the future could look like.”

“This footage, which is from April of 2022, is a sign of a much larger problem,” Walsh said in his post unraveling the FAA meeting. “Over the past few weeks, I’ve heard from several members of the aviation industry who tell me that DEI is endangering the public and distracting them from their work.”

what are these inferiority complexes of many "white" men actually based on? and at what point do you actually a white person? i look a bit like an italian but am a genuine german): by the way: our ancestors were dark-skinned, including jesus and many other historical figures. is that a bad thing? and the fact that there is a certain tendency towards progressive behaviour in this decade is simply due to the zeitgeist, you can't do anything about it but rest assured, it will pass and then the next conspiracy will come along.

That video is from 2 years ago.

Is it any surprise that we're now seeing the results of those policies in action?

It is irrational to say any individual's characteristics should be obvious from their race.

However, it is also irrational to automatically suppose there are equal proportions of talents and abilities from race to race.

Doling out jobs based on race is racist.

Is there a shortage of pilots because they seem to be now less strict in the mental health area. ETA: Yes there is a shortage of pilots.

As long as they are closely involved in pilot mental health I don't see any issue with putting transgendered people in the cockpit or even a white guy/gal who has kicked his drug or alcohol use - or got a handle on their PTSD.

FAA might have to watch closely how transgendered pilots are singled out for bad performance reviews due to bias and nip that in the bud too.

Pilots frustrated.

Pilots flying without being diagnosed when they have problematic mental issues. Are veterans being unfairly targeted?

Perfect. Reduce the number of white males in the name of diversity, and exponentially increase the number of air traffic errors due to a lack of expertise, training, and experience.

35-50% of trans people are suicidal. I will definitely NOT be taking that flight, thanks. After working with DEI hires, I guess I'll only take the flight if it's a white male pilot, since I can't trust the airlines with anyone else. They can barely keep the doors on their planes as it is.

How many non trans pilots are suicidal and/or are hiding their mental disorders/illness? I'd hazard a guess most of the non-trans 5,000 pilots are hiding their mental illness (PTSD - how many are suicidal and nobody knows it?).

So you're ok with jobs being filled based on skin color/ethnicity over qualifications?

It's one thing to say you want to increase the amount of diversity in an industry, but another to say you want to reduce the number of a particular race.

If someone were smart there would be a lawsuit. This is discrimination plane and simple.

Imagine if they said they wanted to reduce the number of black people that are pilots.

Where is Benjamin krunk? Where is al sharpton? Where is the splc?

All I really care about is can the pilot maintain altitude +/- 25' and shoot a Cat 3 ILS and at least knows how to shoot a NDB to final. And be mentally stable. The rest doesn't matter. White/black, trans, straight or gay I don't care. Fly the damn plane!

According to Federal Aviation Administration data, near-miss accidents where planes nearly hit each other have increased nearly 25% in the last decade, with about 300 such accidents in the most recent 12-month period for which reports are available.

"We're trying to take a bigger look and do some deeper analysis to see what's going on," Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg told USA TODAY back in March. "It's enough that I'm concerned."

They have no idea what’s going on.

None.

Maybe airlines should have an option when buying a ticket.

1. Middle aged white pilots.
2. Diversity hire pilots.

Should work out just fine..👍

Two Jet-Blue planes just collided on the tarmac at Boston Logan Airport

"You have to be some kind of stupid to let that happen," one passenger said.

I'm so surprised.

Yes, but where does the fault lie? With the pilots or the air traffic controllers or the system in place?

Why would they assume that people want to go from ramp to cockpit? Its not like working at a fast food restaurant hehe where you basically do the same things as management that you did as a peon. And a lot of subtle racism because they're just assuming everyone who works those roles is a minority. Maybe we don't wanna be pilots? You ever think about that? I'm all for diversity but not just for its own sake. People have to want to do a job like pilot otherwise they endanger everyone. I feel like it's a passion job. Not one to force square pegs into round holes to make people feel warm and fuzzy.

Plus I hear that airline pilot pay is not that much better than baggage handler pay anyways so what would be the actual incentive there to change from a set steady schedule to the exhausting schedule of an airline pilot. I would rather be a cruise ship captain, they make a lot of money.
