Police have now confirmed that the arrest was not because of the flag, but because the man was shouting “abusive” language at the protesters.

They said a 50-year-old had been arrested on suspicion of “a racially aggravated public order offence and homophobic abuse”.

In a statement, Merseyside Police said: “We can confirm a 50-year-old man was arrested during a march, which took place in Liverpool city centre on Sunday, 4 February.

It looks like various posters don't even check the news or the links provided.

So he wasn't arrested for carrying the Union Flag but for whatever he said to the protestors.

Either way, the police heavily favor the immigrants ,and are biased towards white europeans. I trust those who post these videos , not the UK /Australian police, so if they say this is what happened I will believe them.

Wouldn't be surprised this becomes reality in the near future and then it will mocked as well.

I'm only 50% wrong, so no, I won't . The Australian video is true/real.

You can also be sure that atm, in the UK, when a white European says something bad to an immigrant he/she is treated and punished more harshly then if the roles were reversed, 100% certain.

The chap who posted the British video said the guy that got arrested said something to the crowd before he was arrested , peaceful protest is allowed in this Country regardless of whether you , I or the police agree with the cause , the police were making sure the protest remained peaceful the guy who got arrested seems to have been there for his own reasons.

The first line of the OP gives away the motivation for the thread I think , seems the truth behind situation is secondary ... or even thirdary perhaps.

This may have been said to see a reaction, or to see how far they can push their agenda, either way if people keep saying nothing or keep pandering, then the end-result will be ugly for sure.

And I will say it again, if the roles were reversed in a non-white country , then people would rise up and it would not be blindly accepted.

Oh really? From what I heard immigrants are housed in nice hotels and handed freebies , while white British people's needs are second or ignored. That's infurating, and immigrants KNOW THIS and know how to milk it.
