Forget No Labels. Biden’s Third-Party Peril is on the Left.

It is clear from the recent NBC Poll that Joe Biden's popularity continues to free fall.

What is most telling in the NBC poll is that while Biden continues to lose popularity the GOP top candidate, Donald Trump, is not picking up the slack that Biden keeps dropping.

So where is Biden's support going? According to Politico, a US based digital news media source with an AllSides Media Bias Rating™ of leans left, Biden is most at risk of losing support to both centrist and, more alarming, liberal third-party candidates.

A center-right candidate able to secure ballot access could claim thousands of voters Biden needs, namely those Americans who grudgingly voted for him to oust Donald Trump in 2020 and are dreading doing so once more.

Yet the collective Democratic fixation on No Labels increasingly looks misplaced — or at least disproportionate given how the 2024 political landscape is taking shape.

how many more polls do there have to be of Kennedy near double-digit votes in swing states before he’s taken seriously? And: how many Biden speeches must be shouted down until Democrats realize that a hot war in Gaza this fall may mean 30,000 fewer votes apiece in Madison, Dearborn and Ann Arbor and therefore the presidency?

It’s the left that presents the most acute peril to the president.

If Kennedy claims the Libertarian Party line, which he’s warming to, Jill Stein is the Green Party nominee and Cornel West gets on any battleground state ballots, they would combine to drain far more votes from Biden than from Trump. You wouldn’t think Democrats need much reminding of this scenario, given how many in their professional ranks lived through two campaigns, 2000 and 2016, in which they lost the electoral vote in part because of leftist spoilers.

Democrats are still catching up to the possibility of their coalition unraveling over Israel’s offensive in Gaza. Are the well-organized hecklers bird-dogging Biden at nearly every speech going to turn to a candidate who once proposed a Muslim ban? Of course not. Yet this White House race, like the last two, is bound to be won on the margins, and Biden is at risk of losing critical younger and left-wing voters to third-party candidates or apathy.

Seeing this looming thrid party storm on the horizon; the Biden campaign plans to take a GWB style "You are either with us or against us" approach to third-party candidates. The campaign is expecting to use its Shadow Campaign airm of left-wing activists and business titans to do some of the heavy lifting in their fight against third-parties.

They must begin restoring the president’s standing on the left now.

There are gentle ways to do that — Biden’s actions on Thursday — and more aggressive steps.

The latter will, I’m told, include a multi-pronged offensive against Kennedy, Stein and West, some of which will come from the campaign and some from outside entities.

“We can set this up very directly: it’s us versus them — and us is just voting for us, and them means voting for a third-party or Trump,” as one Biden official put it to me.

How does the Biden campaign and their alience of left-wing activists and business titans plan to fight the third parties? In a characteristically Democrat Party move; they plan to attack democracy itself.

In the short term, that means seizing on any chance to complicate the ballot access of the third-party candidates and attempting to discredit their motives or at least highlight the less savory aspects of their character.

According to this Politico article one of the biggest reasons that Joe Biden finds himself on the slippery slope of unpopularity is due to his stance on the Israeli Gaza war.

I got a taste of what’s brewing at a conference this week convened by the University of Southern California’s Center for the Political Future.

a student took the microphone and confronted longtime Biden adviser John Anzalone with a question. Well, it was more of a statement.

Michigan voters, the student warned, are “not going to vote for Genocide Joe.”

When members of your own political base are calling you "Genocide Joe" its easy to see the tough hill to clime Biden is going to have persuading undecided voters to stick with him in 2024.

Haven’t been to a libertarian party meeting in years, and my closest libertarian friend went democrat so I have no real world metrics.

I looked at Kennedy a few months ago but I’m like… nope.

The fix is in for Trump this time although hardly as obvious as the 2020 election.

It has more to do with the power of suggestion with celebrities who sided with the Trump is "literally Hitler" crowd "miraculously" committing to vote for him this time around.

Even CNN opinionistas have had to admit that Trump is much better positioned ahead of the next election than Joe Biden and yet the democrats are supposedly too stupid to see they're fronting a losing horse that's headed for the big glue factory in the sky.

And we all know who tells celebrities what to think and say, but that is a coincidence for another day yup.

So why is Trump's character not being assassinated as much as the last time?

I think they shot their wad the first time, and have nothing left. Can't use the "Russian Collusion" thing again, can't find any more "crimes" to charge him with. If the court cases keep getting delayed, they won't be able to use their lawfare angle. Who would have thought the justice system could actually work FOR a republican. A popular approach by both rabid lefties and rabid zionists is to pretend they do not know what you are talking about by dragging out the conversation inch by inch in an attempt to find a weak spot they can attack.

Sure, some are positively cocooned into such an echo chamber that they simply do not know any better.

However being on ATS guarantees exposure to the other side of the story and so we can rule out ignorance and start to realize we are looking at blind allegiance by any means necessary.
