Only two House lawmakers on Wednesday voted against a measure seeking to ban Hamas terrorists involved in last October’s attack on Israel from ever entering the US – Reps. Rashida Tlaib (D-Mich.) and Cori Bush (D-Mo.).
The No Immigration Benefits for Hamas Terrorists Act, introduced by Rep. Tom McClintock (R-Calif.), would deem any members of Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the Palestine Liberation Organization or other individuals who participated in or facilitated the Oct. 7, 2023, terrorist attack on the Jewish state ineligible to enter the US, even if seeking asylum.
The bill passed the lower chamber in a 422-2 vote, with Rep. Delia Ramirez (D-Ill) voting present and six members not voting.

There are already laws that prevent terrorists from immigrating to America. They cover 'legal' immigration, though; laws for illegal immigration is just a wats of time amd money.
Nobody in government gollows laws anyway, so this is just more political stupidity.

The law exists that prevent terrorists from emigrating to America. How does that law work if the person emigrating is a terrorist, he knows he's a terrorist, the rest of the world knows he's a terrorist, bbuuutt your country does not recognise him as a terrorist.?????

The fact those two are in this country prove how ineffective or unenforced the laws actually are. But I don't think they were thinking it through at all. They often try to make illeagle things more illeagle all the time.

Funny how you think a "terrorist" organization of less than 20k men primarily contained in an open air prison somehow pose more of a threat ....
