Squad Member Cori Bush Under Investigation For Misuse of Funds

Seems Leftist democrat squad member, Cori Bush of 'Defund the Police' fame...may have misused taxpayer money by hiring her BF (later they married) as a personal body guard...even though rules say any private security hired using taxpayer funds must be certified...which her lover was not.

She is NOW under federal investigation.

These people are SO F-ing stupid and corrupt.

Oops for her. Oh well, if found guilty she deserves the penalty. We always hear this kind of stuff by politicians. Can't remember who, one congress person claimed so much in fuel reimbursement they could have driven just about around the globe.

those rules aren't for her. Just as that crime isn't for her, just the lower forms of life, who aren't as important, which is why she feels they don't need security, but she does.

In THIS case, it's particularly poignant, as SHE was one of the loudest Democrat voices screaming to take personal security away from her constituents by defunding police...while padding her own lover's pockets with taxpayer funds by illegally hiring him for her own personal security.

Maybe she should scream "witch hunt" and "weaponized DOJ", those are better claims to grift on.

Not like the entire left, or even a good portion of it would defend this no matter what she claims. Crimes have penalties. Best way to avoid them is to not commit a crime. Pretty simple.

Could she not say she fell in love with him after he was hired? She may get her hand smacked for the relationship, but I can see her lie out of this.

umm, a "weaponized DOJ" is laughable, her party is in power.

So the question is, what did she do to piss them off? They let her get exposed, why? Just like the disgraced gov of NY....

and, it can't be a witch hunt, there is actual proof she did this.

Hmm...I said she'd be better off claiming that because as we have seen from those claiming witch hunt and weaponized DOJ are the better grift in response to a post claiming she will yell racism. Millions have been raised for people claiming weaponized DOJ. I get she's the wrong party to make money that way though.

I mean personally again, if you do the crime, either present your facts for defense, and if guilty, take your lumps. Grifting off people for your own crime is ridiculous of anybody. Blaming anyone for your own crime is pathetic. It's really not difficult to not commit a crime.
