That whole scam reads like a money laundering operation. The company making the shoes is paying Trump a fee, through one of his companies, to use his branding. The only problem is that the company making the shoes doesn't seem to exist.

Their registered address points to a run down shopping center in Sheridan, Wyoming.

For those that don't know, Wyoming is well known for being a tax haven and home to thousands of shell companies.

My guess is that Trump is selling shoes that cost pennies to make for exorbitant prices, but more importantly to him, he's moving money around that he legally shouldn't. Be that money locked up in Trump Org or campaign money, your guess is as good as mine.
