Obama did not get more votes the second time around and he is the anointed Messiah. There were actually 2 million less votes cast in 2012.

129 million votes in 2012. 20 million more votes cast in 2020 than in 2016.

Republicans won 9 seats and increased what they had in 2022. They gained 13 in 2020. If you remove the 'Independents' Republicans also have majority in the Senate.

They gained a narrow majority in the House (which has since dwindled to being razor thin) and they failed to gain control of the Senate. Hardly the firm control of both houses that were being predicted by Right Wing pundits.

Even before the Dobbs decision came down I predicted it would spell the end of the Red Wave. That ended up being true and it has also hurt them in any special election since.

They gained seats. Where is this a loss? As for the Senate, I explained, the GOP by party has the majority. There are 2 Independents.

Bottom line is they won seats in the House.
