Yeeh , well to me things are slipping to dangerous direction with Donald J. Trump / MAGA movement . I feel bad /disgusted just by looking that from here, long distance, so i perfectly understand your feelings..

What exactly do you feel disgusted by from the "movement" ? If you are at a "long distance" there must be some serious things that are making you feel bad and be disgusted by this MAGA movement, I'm just curious what's so disgusting that is bothering you so bad?

Well, it bothers me that he wants to pull out of NATO?

Not as long a distance from it if it all kicks off as you are, by the way.

Pulling out of NATO is just his negotiation tactic, he's been talking about it since 2017/18 at least. It's not like being out of NATO would have any ill effect on the US, other then saving a bunch of $$. NATO needs the US a lot more then the US needs NATO.

Wait a minute I just realized you weren't even the OP /Kenzo I was asking the question too 😂

Poland has lived under the Russian thumb before.
Poland will not let that happen again.

NATO Is not provoking anyone.

You don't find it interesting how Trump went on and on about leaving NATO.
He then went and pandered to a bunch of dictators, including Putin.
And when he didn't win a second term Russia conducts their "special military operation" when the idea of the US leaving NATO was off the table?

I find that interesting.

Strong personal allegiance to Donald Trump. That`s one main issue with MAGA . and as we noticed MAGA people want to share same views than the main character himself.

As we remember , this Donald had the views after Russia attacked Ukraine that it`s genious move.

At a campaign rally in Georgia over the weekend, the former President, again, praised Russian President Vladimir Putin.

“The smartest one gets to the top,” Trump told the crowd. “That didn’t work so well recently in our country. But they ask me, ‘Is Putin smart?’ Yes, Putin was smart. And I actually thought he was going to be negotiating. I said, ‘That’s a hell of a way to negotiate, put 200,000 soldiers on the border.’”

That all sounds a lot like what Trump has been saying about Putin almost since the start of the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

“I went in yesterday and there was a television screen, and I said, ‘This is genius,’” Trump said during an interview with conservative radio hosts last month. “Putin declares a big portion of the Ukraine – of Ukraine. Putin declares it as independent. Oh, that’s wonderful.”

The very next day, Trump said almost the same thing. “They say, ‘Trump said Putin’s smart.’ I mean, he’s taking over a country for two dollars’ worth of sanctions,” Trump told a crowd at a fundraiser at Mar-a-Lago, according to a recording of the event. “I’d say that’s pretty smart. He’s taking over a country – really a vast, vast location, a great piece of land with a lot of people, and just walking right in.”

Trump’s praise of Putin then is a feature, not a glitch. He says it – and keeps saying it – because he is genuinely admiring of the supposed might the Russian president is showing in invading Ukraine. It’s that simple.

In reality, you have this kindergarden character with no idea of foreign policy , just litle red/orange kid with big ego wanting to run he`s own personal ego show 24/7

Donald Trump just can’t stop praising Vladimir Putin

Given there's a clear shift and outright challenge towards the global liberal world order, including Trump wanting to back America away from it, and from his style of leadership and the way he acted in diplomacy, it's become evident that he was brokering deals with states that have conventionally been on America's naughty list, but for what?

I just fins it interesting how he went to Russia talked to Putin, everything was fine pretty much, he goes to north Korea, peace is made, he goes to China, Xi is suddenly his best bud, but when he doesn't get his second term, all hell breaks loose. I'm no expert on the subject, but, isn't a president or secretary of state supposed to broker deals for the now, and future America, and rhe world,n ot specifically between one person and his minions only. Why did it all hang off his word and his endorsement?

It's just some passing observations I've made, and tie them to past historical events that's all.
I don't really believe Trumps intentions are evil or sinister in nature, I think what he's trying to do is what he's always been prone to follow, and that is to establish a true American corportist stance, he's a homebody at heart, his entire empire was built with American real estate. In his world view the rest of the world isn't America, so why should he care?

The issue starts tho when there's obvious nation states out in the world that never wanted to align with the liberal democratic order, and when nations didn't, historically, the US was there to nudge them into the right direction, but always had 'America first' policy.
Trump obviously tried to keep such policy, but tried to nudge them in his own way, by negotiating like a business man, but the thing is I don't think those nations were ever going to play along unless they got something out of it, what exactly did Trump give them to align so quickly, and when he wasn't in power anymore, suddenly make a huge 180.
If they weren't willing to work with other, or future admims, then that tells me Trump put himself on the line in some way.
If Trump continues his approach by pulling the US out of NATO and suddenly becoming ultra protectionist, a power vacuum will form very quickly outside the US, and it might not work out the way he imagined it.

His intentions are good for America, but as they say the road to hell is paved with good intentions. Unfortunately the world has become rather dependent on America, what will happen when the champion of liberal democracy suddenly shifts hard?
