Can it be things worked better under Trump because his supporters stopped not cooperating?

Can it be tax resisters were asked by Trump's people to start paying in after Trump won?

Whether taxes or spending their money in a way which would boost potential Republican voters' bottom lines?

Can it be they didn't even need to be asked?

Can it be there are quite a few people in this country who feel they don't have to pay taxes if they can avoid it, or cooperate with government initiatives if they don't feel the government represents their interests?

US tax revenue has increased every year since 2010.

It last dropped in 2008 but was caught back up by 2013.

So I don't think that was much of factor.

There are a ridiculously number of factors that make an economy function.
Everything from interest rates to consumer confidence.
People with a 401k growing and 3% interest rates on a loan are much more likely to buy a new car or a big vacation than people with a stagnant retirement account and 8% interest on a car loan.
Inflation is hitting our bottom line right now and paying $6 for butter instead on $3 tends to make for a tighter grip on spending.

Also, anyone that doesn’t do everything in their power to pay as little tax as possible is a fool. We are literally sending billions to Ukraine to protect their borders but only a few million to protect our own. So yeah, I don’t believe my taxes money is being spent with my best interest in mind.

Did it ever occur to you that the reason Trump has beaten most of the charges thrown at him is that he didn't do them? Or that they were so minor in the grand scheme of things they didn't warrant the charges made against him? Many on the left in the US need to consider this video.

I'm an idiot, and know nothing about the economy. But when the energy sector is booming, things seems to follow. Trump was very much into making the energy sector boom. And he will have to fill the SPR back up since Joetatoe used it to buy a couple votes and make his daddy Xi happy.
