Can we use new technology to identify the hidden folks from Jan 6?

We can assume that some of the agitators there that day were feds. We also know that the feds won't be rating out feds. So the very people we have in place to protect us from this kind of thing are the very one's who did this kind of thing.

But we have AI now. Perhaps someone with some time and programing knowledge can use it to identify the provacatours that are clearly on film doing things like breaking out windows and then acting as if someone else did it. One guy in particular stands out to me. After he removed the glass, he realized he was being filmed and dropped what he had. Then tried to start a fight with someone telling him not to remove the glass. He had a covering over his face, but you can see his build and eyes at least. I don't know if it's possible, but I do know if "we the people" don't try to figure this out, nobody else will.

Once we identify just ONE of these douchebags, the game is on. All it will take is one positive ID to shut up the DERP's and put the feds on their heels.

The desperation isn't an attractive look in any group of people. The MAGA crowd certainly take it to another level though in their bid to cling to a reality of their very own. You can have Florida if you want, Texas too if that would sweeten the deal. It's just not worth listening to anymore and trying to reason or have an informed discussion is pointless.

Oh well, toil on treading water in that odd reality.

My overall impression of the Jan. 6th insurrection from what I witnessed on the news and from reading Sund's transcript is that Feds and other authorities just didn't believe anything other than to expect another MAGA rally as being the same as the other two rallies with limited skirmishes - until the large crowds showed up. At that point they were unprepared for what was about to unfold and then little to no action was taken by TPTB to gain control of the crowd.

I don't think there is anything to figure out because this MAGA rally/insurrection was being planned way in advance of Jan. 6th.

But having said that, sure using AI to debunk or prove your conspiracy theory isn't a waste of time but I also have a conspiracy theory with just how much we can trust AI accuracy or bias when its data is human-fed.

I once many years ago had a conversation with someone on here who had written a programme that would allow cctv cameras to see a person's iris ,with sunglasses on at night and allow them to identify that individual and that was 10 plus years ago ND .

The argus drone from 2007 could see a person ,or vehicle and assign it a number and no matter how they/ it tried to hide would keep track of that target m.youtube.com...

It would shock you what they have now ND .

They know who and where everything is 24/7

trust me when I say this, if we could put all of you folks in a few blue states, and not worry about you escaping, that would be a huge win for us. The problem is, once you screw up your home and sh!t all over the dinner table, you move to a nice place like Florida or Texas and bring your idiotic thinking with you. It's kind of a thing. Look into it.

that's about how I presume our technology is today. Which is why this thought popped into my head. As I said, we know THEY aren't going to be looking, so it behoves us to make the effort.

And for the DERP's, it's equally important to note that by doing this, only the perpetrators of something bad will be identified. To go against that, seems like fear if finding out you were played like a fool.

worst case scenario is we identify others who actually did bad things.

What’s your definition of “informed discussion”?
Conservatives have been trying to reason with bat sh!t crazy Liberals going on almost 10 years now and what do we have?
Liberals screaming, crying, whining and throwing hissy fits over a guy who hurt your stunted feelings.

Cry harder.

It is frustration, not desperation.

For those who don't like our Republic, our Constitution, and those who don't agree with them...may suggest the following:

A. For those who like the racist DEI Policy push that most of America doesn't want, move to China.

B. For those who want the government to tell them what is ok and what is wrong, try Venezuela. They dove deep into that, and it seems to be working well for them.

C. For those who want straight communism, Russia is motherland. And we can all see how loved Putin is.

Our country is not perfect. Never was, never will be...it is made up of *gasp* humans.

Our country has given A LOT to this world. However, right now, one party thinks they can do no wrong. They are doing anything to silence those they don't agree with. Funny thing is, those they are fighting, are the ones who stand up for their right to be wrong.

And bro, if the left can bitch about hanging Chad's and Russian interference, we can talk about the blatant irregularities of 2020.

And that is where the frustration lies. I am an election denier for 2020, but Pencilneck can lie and get away with it for over 5 years now.

You may not like the reality WE are in, but that is because you see the lefts hypocrisy and won't admit it.

ETA: If you don't like my 3 suggestions, there are over another 170 countries you can choose from.

Yup, they are horrible places with horrible people. You should never go there. it's dangerous. Stay in NYC, to be safe and all.

Didn’t you use this piss poor argument in another thread the other day?
Someone did.
But this argument is complete BS and you know it is.

Where do you think the blue states are doing any better?
Rampant crime to the point of businesses leaving the cities?
Homeless people sh!tting on the sidewalk right outside of their makeshift tents?
Unemployed illegals clogging everything up?
What does your woke Harvard or Yale education get you living in a blue state or city?
Nothing.

Try harder.

There's facial recognition and gait DNA smart-cam AI systems that can identify people with masks on etc..but they're still very error prone and far more likely to falsely identify people.

It's also easy to fool the systems by wearing insoles or special clothes/sunglasses/make up can be bought such as these www.reflectacles.com... that scramble the software so any agent provacateur would use such methods to avoid identification.

Apparently they don't need technology at all. The families of the Jan6 participants are turning them in.

the one's I'm thinking of weren't hiding very hard. Face mask, sure, but not much else that I could see.
As I said, it will only take ONE fad to be identified and proven to open the flood gates. Just one.

Come on man, you know that the FBI's incompetence is unmatched in certain areas! They have CCTV footage of the "pipe bomber" talking on his cell phone - the Idaho student mass murder was solved in days using cell tower pings from the murderer's phone.

They haven't caught him because they don't want to.

I get it. It took three years for them to openly pretend Ray Epps wasn't a fed.

I've no idea how AI works but wouldn't such a task require (or at least massively benefit from) a public database fof photos of undercover cops/feds to compare and correcrly identify them with. My limited understanding is thtey require databases of such photos and/or facial mapping - I doubt such a photo/video database exists, at least publicly as it woluld defeat the purpose of being undercover.

Maybe it could be worked around by analysing footage of pervious incidents involving the feds/policeforces involved that day to see if there's footage of a similar face in uniform - apparently ears are the best visual data to indentify a person as they'e unique to each person.

I vaguely remember a BLM protest or similar where they managed/or claimed to have accurately identified a police officer who was acting as a provocateur and broke a loaff of windows/tried to set stuff on fire a couple of years back but need to refresh my memory on how they did that (mi of comparing CCTV, shoes/trousers and wraing polivr issued gloves.

This is a news story on the original incident and will try and dig out the analysis that claims to identify him but certinaly don''t couch for the accuracy of their findings

Independent - Umbrella man may have been agent provocateur

Sure , that would be Easy . Just Program it to look at Peoples Shoes who were at the Event . I Bet it would Find Over a Hundred Well Groomed Suspect Footwears among the Crowd .

I don't know the mechanics, but if someone had a publicly available picture somewhere, it could be found if the right approach to looking for it was had (I assume) Like a police academy picture, or a military photo. As I said, I don't know if it would work, but it would be nice if it was looked into just in case there is a way.
