I love violin! When I was 6 I picked up my mom’s violin and could play it without a lesson, piano too. It’s a past life love for music!

I did a thread about remixes a few months back. Seeing how someone interprets someone elses music can be fascinating.

Back in the day, I remember the Far Corporation band and their album Division One. They did a brilliant cover of Stairway to Heaven that was lauded by Led Zeppelin themselves.

Here’s some more info from Wiki.

Far Corporation's primary claim to fame is their cover of "Stairway to Heaven". Contrary to public perception, Far Corporation was actually the first group to make the singles charts with this song as Led Zeppelin had never released it as a single. In fact, it was the only version of the song that charted on the US Billboard Hot 100, reaching #89 in October 1986...

Far Corporation released its first album Division One in 1985 on IMP/ATCO Records and their cover of "Stairway to Heaven" reached #8 on the UK Singles Chart...

I love violin too I think cello is my favorite, but violin is amazing whether classical or fiddle.

I wonder what you think of this instrument? Recorded in 1927, Washington Phillips with his hand made mysterious instrument (people have guessed it to be a dulcimer but still not entirely sure last time I checked)
