Sorry to hear about the death of your wife. Medical mistakes and medical ignorance are common and it has been that way for a long time. I am not enthused by what is happening in the medical industry these days. It seems to have gotten way more expensive and I think it was better thirty years ago than it is now. I do not know why this is but many older people will say the same thing because we have seen the difference over the years.
Cherish the memories you had with her and focus on them more than being mad about what happened. There are still good doctors out there but they are getting rarer.
