Unless the rules are changed, MIGRANTS are counted as part of the census. Two million migrants in CA replacing the 2 million citizens who leave, and the Electoral College count for CA stays the same.

I've been really sick of hearing the GOP and FOXNEWS voice frustration over Biden allowing millions of migrants into the country, like it's some kind of "failure" or "mistake" on his part.

IT IS NOT. IT IS BY DESIGN!!

ELECTORS and CONGRESS makeup is why the Biden Admin is doing this. It's not even meant for this coming election...but for 2030, when the next census is taken.

From my understanding it didn't affect the VP much, as the original issue didn't really drag the VP into the equation, Trumps team just brought forward a small loophole that wasn't thought of before, because no one thought someone would go to such lengths to fight a election lose before...

The answer to the question is restrict. The act restricted the VP's role to ceremonial where before he was the presiding over the senate as is the VP's duty even for elections.
