There would be no discussion or argument if there weren't any competitions to begin with. Why compete with each other at all? Competition stirs contention. And where there is contention there will be discord and tension and disagreement, and jealousy, and arguments, and fits of rage, etc.

So what one person can run a mile faster 2 seconds than another. So what if one person can jump one foot further than another because they trained years for it. It's really not that big of a deal. Humankind has been endowed with amazing talents and abilities. We should harness these and use them to bring glory to the one who gave them to us, and to be united.

"Indeed, what do you have that you did not receive? If, in fact, you did receive it, why do you boast as though you did not receive it?"-1 Corinthians 4:7.

Competition brings us to higher levels.

Complacency is the demise of our species.

Simple as that.

Hmm...I don't think you have to be in competition in order not to be complacent.

Look, God confused the languages of humankind at the tower of Babel because he realizes our full potential, because he is the one who created us in his image. He said that nothing would be impossible for humankind if he remained united. Do you realize what sort of achievements could have already been accomplished by now if humankind was of one language and using their wonderful abilities to progress? There are things you can't even imagine that would have already been achieved. Things that God had already foreseen and avoided by dividing humankind. And thus he will remain in his contentions and competitions and divisions until he reunites us. And then you will see achievements that you haven't even fantasied about in today's reality.

Jumping one foot further, running 1 second faster after years of practice.

A surgeon may study for decades to be a good one. He saves a few lives then he dies. And what did all that study achieve humankind? Very little in the scheme of things. Everyone is just wasting their time. Scientists have built rockets that can propel satellites into the solar system and to the edge, but they haven't solved world hunger or poverty. Competition will never do that either.

Don't disagree with your footnotes at all. But that doesn't change what I stated either to be fair.

Haha. It would seem that way. Even the congregator made this most wise of observations:

"For an abundance of wisdom brings an abundance of frustration, So that whoever increases knowledge increases pain."-Ecclesiastes 1:18.

For example that surgeon, the more he progresses in life and sees the hopeless condition of humankind, and the more he wants to help, the more his eyes are open to see how little good all his decades of study has given to humankind. And then before he can do more he ceases to be.

"Then I said in my heart: “What happens to the stupid one will also happen to me.” What, then, did I gain by becoming excessively wise? So I said in my heart: “This too is futility.”"-Ecclesiastes 2:15.

It is all futile and a striving after the wind. All of it.

Paul came to the correct conclusion when he realized that all of his worldly wisdom he developed over years, perhaps decades of superior or higher education at the feet of the most influential people of his day on the world scene was all a lot of garbage in comparison to the knowledge of the Christ.

Again with the god does not want you smart thing.

That is all made up by the church to keep the masses dumb so they will be easier to control. Just look at the Bible only allowed to be in Latin for most of its existence in the English speaking world. At that time, the commoners could only learn what someone told them that book said and could not read it themself.

So you believe it’s ok for a man who has had his tackle cut off, that it’s ok for him to compete in a woman’s sport
I can’t understand how that’s fair, why anyone thinks that’s fair
Still a biological advantage

I think it's idiotic from start to finish. But as it doesn't look like anyone is coming to their senses and back to reality anytime soon, we should at the very least, make sure those who wish to compete against others in opposite gender roles, should be committed to being the opposite gender. A lot of the yuk factor is in the locker room. remove that, and perhaps the rest will sort itself out.

I'm still against kids transitioning as they aren't mentally capable to make life altering decisions, and for a 12 year old to lop off his junk, then decide he made a mistake a few years down the road, well, sorry, no do overs, no respawns.

Hyperbolic much or do you just enjoy spreading misinformation about trans youth? If a 12 year old has reached Tanner stage 2 or 3 of natal puberty, in some cases they might be put on puberty suppression but over half the kids wanting this are unable to obtain it. Between 14 and 16, a kid might be prescribed cross-sex hormones. Genital surgery is very, very rarely performed on anyone under the age of 18 after years of observation and counseling.

I Question the Sanity of Anyone who would Believe such Nonsense .

To a point, but there is a reason we are slow and weak, but still the Apex predator on this planet. We only achieve greatness when life is easy, but when it gets hard we can swing in the other direction of the spectrum just as far. If we lost the electrical grid those lifelong vegetarians in LA would be cannibals within six months.

So what you should hope for is we live in times when it is easy, but it does seem to be swinging in the other direction, so buckle up it's going to be a bumpy ride.

The problem with your logic is you are looking at this from the individual viewpoint of one person who struggles their whole life and only makes a small dent, but how about 7 billion small dents, now we are moving mountains.

It is true the more you learn about something the more you understand what you do not know, is that a bad thing? If we went by your logic then why learn anything if it just continually opens up more and more doors, but what you seem to not understand is once a door is open it is now open for all to go through. We would be still back in the hunter-gatherer stage by your logic.

It is all futile and a striving after the wind. All of it.

Maybe until you walked on the backs of others working to harness the wind and you become the wind master.

And Christ just wants us to sit around and do nothing but praise him. Should we sow the fields or just wait for God to provide? Should we provide clean water or just ask God to do it? For God to give us this gift and then he says don't use it... doesn't sound right. Paul was an egomaniac to think that way. It is not about him, you, or me, it's about who we touched alone the way to make them better. If Paul learned all this knowledge and wisdom and just became a hermit then he failed.

So I think most people do not give a rat's ass as to what others want to do. I find much of the fringes of the ABC community to be OCD. People who spend their waking hours thinking about their pronouns for example have an issue. The rest of us spend not even 10 seconds in our lives caring. Trans falls deep into this area too where people obsess over their gender identity. With most gay people I know you would not know them from a straight person, they do not obsess over their gayness just like people do not obsess over their straightness. With people who do there are a lot of other things going on there other than just wanting to be gay or trans, many layers of issues. I have known two trans females for many years that I game with and they both are a Pandora's box of issues well past their transgender.

When it comes to people under the age of 18 and especially before puberty we can't just say OK you want to be a girl now and run with it because the vast majority are just whims of fantasy. This is why there should be no rush... it's not like you missed a small window and it is gone. I have concerns that in the next 10 years or so we will see a very large group of people saying they F'ed up, went with the craze, and now things are not reversible.

So we look at Jazz who had surgery before her penis was developed to use and now doesn't have much of anything but a hole that she needs to use a dilator daily for a good amount of time to keep her canal open as the body sees it as a wound. I also do not even want to think about how nasty it could get down there without the natural protection women have.

Transmales going back to female is rough too, life long hair on the face and other areas, low voice, changes in her female parts...etc all lead to a long life of depression and other issues.

I say let people figure themselves out and if as adults they want to do whatever then have at it, but we do not need to make it the cool thing to do and push it on the very young as an open option.

AMEN! I think that is the main issue right there. it's not that a kid who is confused is bad, it's that when adults try to make kids think that if you are confused, you are some superior entity over those who live normal boring heterosexual lives. Kids by nature seek recognition and acceptance. If their mentors are pushing the trans agenda, that's what they will strive to be so they can gain that acceptance and attention.

Much like a male role model who is super alpha male and goes overboard. A kid who wishes to emulate him will likely act more like that, than just a normal kid. They are very impressionable.

They're not nearly as impressionable as you think. Nothing can penetrate a safe, consistent and communicative parent-child relationship. If your child respects you they will follow the example that you set for them but that doesn't mean that they want to be you. Sooner or later they are going to want to express their difference from you - whatever that may be and how fleeting or lasting, and they are going to scan the horizon for those that they feel better able to relate to. Puberty is a tough time. Not everyone has good, open communication with their parents. Those children are more vulnerable to all kinds of things and require greater protection but if you raise free-, critical-thinkers there is very little you need to worry about in that department.

I lost my first tooth at age four by a young man with anger issues towards women so extreme he had to be put into Military School at age five because he was so violent to his sisters and his parents couldn't control him anymore.

In the first grade at an inner city school I was punched in the gut my a young man who demanded I give him a Nickle found on rhe playground. I refused and he sucker punched me.

In the sixth grade I got punched in the gut again by a young man who misunderstood my lighthearted comment and thought I was genuinely insulting his Mother's Honor.

In the Texas School Sytem hitting a nonviolent girl was punishable by Corporal Disipline and not tolerated in any way shape of form rather and I doubt much has changed.

Some communities let the men and women duke it out to get it out of their system because they're a tough breed.

In Seattle I was punched by two tall young men in the company of a younger African American male who approached me one night demanding his 40 acres and a mule.

Another night there was a misunderstanding between myself and a young man and he landed a solid right hook over a minor misunderstanding and my cheekbone was bruised for a month.

All of these young men had one thing in common.

Blonde hair blue eyes.

Violence against women who do not submit to the submissive expectations of the White Supremacist Extremists is very common.

Misogyny runs wild within that dynamic and women are expected to submit and know their place or else.

This is just my experience.

I know violence and aggression towards women runs rampant across various races, creeds, religions what have you because of various reasons but I cannot speak on those issues because I have no firsthand experience of their struggles.

Some women lash out first and can be horribly abusive to the men in their lives, others keep being abused no matter how hard they try to please their Husband's or Boyfriends because it's never enough and the men have gone mad with power.

There is a sickness that has been plaguing Humanity since time immorial and I'm afraid I can offer no constructive or viable solution to this dilemma at this time.
