Early Presidential polling shows former President Donald Trump leading GOP challengers by double digits, and beating (deteriorating) President Joe Biden, by +4%.

I hate to be "that guy", but you're telling me that a demented old man who can barely finish a sentence and doesn't know where he is or what he's doing most of the time is only 4% behind the leading candidate for the presidency?

Either those numbers are a crock of s**t, or this country is screwed 7 ways from Sunday.

Didn’t the polls have Hillary up by double digits over Orange Man Bad in 2016?

Exactly. Those numbers are about as trustworthy as Joe is.

Well the Michigan Supreme Court decided to follow the law and keep Trump on the ballot.
I am surprised they got it right after the illegal Colorado debacle but that should get struck down too.

The Michigan Supreme Court has rejected an attempt to remove former President Donald Trump from the 2024 Republican primary ballot.

Polls mean nothing. Have you ever been asked your opinion on one? Do you know anyone who has ever been asked?

These same polls showed Hillary winning by a landslide in 2016.

Gay people existing is not the problem. The problem is turning them (among others) into a privileged class and making them more equal than everyone else, as well as giving them access to our kids without parental permission so they can indoctrinate them.

Which is one of the reasons Trump is ahead of dementia Joe.

Which is why I pointed it out.

Yup.

All the signs point to your country systematically being dismantled.

So who or what would be capable of doing that to the mightiest empire in human history?

It’s being dismantled from within by the anti-American Liberals/Leftists/Democrats.

Trump will never win again.

"Indoctrinate". What do you mean? Do you think being around gay people can turn kids gay?

It use to not matter what side of the aisle you were on, the love for your country was what everyone rallied around and came together to support. We need those times back, when leaders inspired us to all be better and have pride in where you call home.
Trump is the only one trying to do this.

Who fixed the problems that allowed them to rig the last presidential election? I forget.

That road never ends in a happy place. The moderate left and right have to coexist. A 50/50 of groups who hate each other will grind your country to a halt or god forbid, civil war. Not every democrat is a SJW, woke, trans advocate and not every Republican is a far right, racist, confederate relic.
There's a lot more common ground to be found than the media would have us believe. Everything publicised is on the very extreme end of one spectrum or another. One centrist candidate could change everything but currently it's extreme vs extreme.

Before 2016, nobody had a problem with Trump. Everyone was happy to take his money, appear on his shows, have him appear on their shows, go golfing with him, go to his casinos, etc.

In 2016, he was considered a joke and a laughing stock. He couldn't win. He'll just go back to real estate after the election and everything would be cool.

After he won, he suddenly became evil incarnate. How dare he beat the heir apparent. He won the disdain of our "allies" when he instituted policies that put America first. Making NATO nations pay their fair share. Other countries put tariffs on American goods, he put tariffs on theirs. Not wanting to start new wars or escalate existing ones. That guy had some nerve. Not only should he be punished, but his entire basket of deplorables needed to be punished. Even if fake evidence had to be created, by any means necessary.

When John McCain and Mitt Romney ran against Obama, they were pretty much called the most racist men in America. Evil liars and generally the scum of the Earth. But once they lost and started criticizing Trump, they were good guys again. Same with Bush and Cheney. Totally despicable human beings back in the day, but they're OK now.

Republicans could run the most non-descript, middle of the road, open to compromise candidate in the country, and that candidate would still be labeled the most extreme, racist, nazi loving, person in the country by Democrats. They don't have much choice. I mean, it's not like Democrats can run on their records or garner support for their policies.

Why would he be kidding you?

It’s the truth, the Democrats hate America.

Trump authorised the dropping of 60,208 bombs in 2017. The idea that he is a non war president is madness. He was dropping more bombs than Obama did and that's impressive...
Mitt Romney is a nutcase who believes in a religion which is the only world religion which can be proven to be 100% false, John McCain was a warmonger of the highest order (Nicaragua, Gulf War. Iraq war, Libya) They're not even close to middle of the road examples.

Dont you want someone who wil seak middle ground as a vice president, someone that you can point at that isnt also a walking middle finger to the left?

Nope.
After 8 years of the Left crying, moaning and bitching about Trump, his supporters and everyone that is Conservative and on the Right, all I want is a walking middle finger to the Left.
They didn’t give an inch, so why the F should we?

I don’t care anymore, burn it all down.

Whether you prefer the Lincoln speech of 1858 or the scripture of Matthew 12:25, the message remains the same. Every election is just another opportunity to piss in the bad guys cheerios which can only water the seeds of enmity. The priority should be national unity, which is literally in the name.
