does the PSP play DvD's if so how it look a little small to hold a full size disc.so whats the deal.

The PSP does not play DVDs. It can play movies via two formats: UMD (Universal Media Disc) and Memory Stick PRO Duo.

It will be easier if you just buy a portable DVD player if you just wanna play DVDs. Trying to watch a movie on a PSP is uncomfortable. Also the battery life might limit the movies you can watch if they're long movies

Exactly. Saying that it plays DVD's is a misconception that seems to be luring much of the audience. Anyhow playing movies isn't going to be exclusive for long if Nintendo decides to go with play-yan.
