But why would Gaza ever agree to disarm when they've seen what's happened with West Bank?

And just submit to an apartheid system, right? Like I said, the example of what has happened in West Bank is a vision of Gaza's future if they demilitarize with no safeguards in place that guarantee their autonomy and ownership of Gaza.

Netanyahu is talking nonsense. He is saying he won't stop and is asking for things that are not real in order to stop.
How do you deradicalize people by killing tens of thousands of them and their children? He is just making more enemies.
Here is how many Palestinians have been killed so far: Over 20,400 killed and 2.3 million of refugees with thier homes gone.
Here is how many Israelis were killed in October and since:
The final death toll from the attack is now thought to be 695 Israeli civilians, including 36 children, as well as 373 security forces and 71 foreigners, giving a total of 1,139.
This excludes five people, among them four Israelis, still listed as missing by the prime minister's office.
Here
Additionally a 154 IDF soldiers have been killed in the war. Here
So on October 7, the terrorist attack killed around 700 Israeli citizens and 450 foreign workers and security. With the IDF soldiers killed in the war, Israel lost about 850 people. Maybe a 1000. Palestinians lost over 20400. 70% women and children.
Israel needs to be deradicalized. Netanyahu is out of his mind.

I have no problem with that but when Netanyahu starts demanding things like demilitarization with no provisions to guarantee Gaza's continued existence then all he's doing is torpedoing peace talks thanks to Israel's past and continued actions in West Bank.

Separate your emotions and actually listen to what I'm saying. I'm not making a judgment call on whether or not Gaza should have weapons.
I'm saying that Gaza will not go for any peace deal that includes demilitarization, especially if there's no kind of safeguards on their autonomy. And a large part of that is due to Israel's treatment of West Bank.
So either Netanyahu needs to be willing to make concessions or he needs to be prepared to commit ethnic cleansing.

I'm saying unconditional demilitarization is a non-starter for peace talks.
There's a chance peace talks could move forward, and include demilitarization, if Gaza is assured that any country that violates Gaza's autonomy would face severe repercussions from the international community.
Something akin to the Budapest Memorandum

How are you not getting this?
West Bank gave up their weapons decades ago and Israel has subjected them to an apartheid-style system ever since, while taking more and more land from them in direct violation of the treaty between the two.
Knowing that history, why would Gaza voluntarily demilitarize?

If you were given the choice to turn over all your weapons and have your land annexed or keep fighting, what are you going to choose?.
