" The Texas Military Department seized a city-owned golf course located in the busiest border crossing point along the Rio Grande. The Texas National Guard then ejected U.S. Border Patrol agents from the park and took total control of this section of the U.S.-Mexico border.

Border Patrol officials told Breitbart Texas that Texas National Guard units quickly moved into Shelby Park in Eagle Pass on Thursday. The guardsmen erected barriers around the park and instructed Border Patrol agents to leave the area.

As Breitbart Texas watched the area Friday morning, Texas National Guard soldiers detained a small migrant group along a Texas-built border wall not far from Shelby Park. It is not clear what the guardsmen will do with the migrants.

This Will be an Epic Court Battle going All the Way to the SCOTUS for Joe's Federal Government and they Will Lose Badly Unless he Persuades Congress to Pass an Amendment that would Supercede States Constitutional Rights to Defend it's Borders .

Good answer. I think it's rather ridiculous that the poster to whom you were replying can't understand such a simple matter as checking ID & looking to see where illegals are crossing the border. If they are observed crossing or cannot produce ID they must be arrested as illegals & deported, as you have indicated.

I wish we would do the same here in the UK, our immigration situation has become untenable, tens of thousands arriving each month in small boats acros the English channel, filling up hotels & country resorts, air force bases & the like, we're having to use our foreign aid budget to spend the millions needed to house them each month. It's absurd, criminal, and needs to be resolved. But our government is being very weak - perhaps on purpose - and not crafting legislation which is strong enough to sort the matter out properly.

Later however the Biden administration changed its statment when it came time to make an official filing with the SCOTUS

The Biden administration, in a new filing to the Supreme Court, has admitted that three migrants who drowned last week died long before Border Patrol agents sought access to the Shelby Park area from Texas officials – after the administration had blasted the Lone Star state over the incident.

Texas had initially pushed back on the narrative, saying that claims of requesting access to save distressed migrants "are inaccurate."

Abbott blamed lawmakers and some media outlets for being "so eager to point [the] finger at Texas for [the] drowning of migrants, they forgot to get the facts."

"When BP requested access to [the] river, the drownings had already occurred & found in MX," he wrote. "The fact is the deaths are b/c of Biden's Open Border magnet."

The White House and their allies in federal and state Justice Departments have firmly established their belief that "rhetoric" and "statements" made by officials can have dangerous consequences through the possible incitement og violence amongst their political base.

If this belief is true should the White House not hold themselves to a higher standard when making statements?

Lieing about the circumstances surrounding the drawing deaths of a migrant mother and two children trying to illegally cross the border in the Shelby Park area of Texas can have a powerful impact on the public. Yet the Biden administration had no reservations when lieing to the American people this week; accusing Governor Abbott and the Texas Military Dept of preventing Federal Border Patrol agents from making a rescue attempt. In fact the pore family was already dead when the Border Patrol informed the Texas Military Dept.

This may not last. They ruled the way they did based on the type of order the appeals court issued to block enforcement. Once appeals play out they could rule the other way. None of us know the eventual outcome. Yes, it is a victory for Texas.

Yeah, it lasted less than a few hours. The original appeals court fixed their error and now enforcement is back on hold. Of course Texas can ask for another emergency appeal but this time they will need to face a much higher bar.

Texas has it's own way of doing things.

They don't need to arrest every Texan. But they can send the military to retake the territory. Posse comitatus only applies to jurisdictions under US federal authority. A decapitation strike against Abbott, every member of the Texas legislature, and every Texas law enforcement officer will do the trick.

Or maybe we just let them leave and become a third world country.
