That isn't the wind moving the balloon around, that is just the drone quickly flying up and down, left and right, and its moving the balloon in relation to the background (parallax). That is why it seems like intelligent movement. This video shows an example at the end:

It appears the observer (camera operator) knows of the objects movements.

It’s too organized.

S & F for something interesting! 🍻

It comes be a drone or some other device

Drone with a ballon on it.

I think Twitter identified the balloon as an Amazon birthday balloon.

Stabilized video where you can read the ballon: Twitter video link

I’m sure there are UAP, but this one is a hoax.

From the way the object is moving it doesn't look like a balloon. But it's likely a drone or a mechanic device that we make and not out of this world.

What part of the video shows no reflection on the water?

It's a balloon, but not just a balloon, it must have something like a drone attached moving the balloon.

It may be some kind of hoax, but not because of lack of reflection at 4:55. It would need to be further away from the camera for a reflection to appear. Look at it before 4:55, it's in front of the water, no reflection. You might be assuming it's moving back and up, but it may just be moving up, in which case there's not supposed to be any reflection. It's hard to be precise about 3D movements in a 2D video, especially for slight changes in distance from the camera.

That's what I thought from the movement because it looks like a spherical drone or mechanical device. I can't see how a balloon will be moving so fast and in this way if it's a real balloon filled with air.

Seeing the capabilities of these drones is fascinating. It makes me more curious why they are not used to get rid of evil people.

If something is pushing a balloon like that, it could move like that, but it won't move like that just from wind.

If you're Ukrainian and you think the Russians who obey orders to invade your country and try to kill you are evil, drones are used to kill those evil people. Sometimes they fly above the Russian trenches and drop grenades or mortar rounds on the Russians. Or drop a mortar round into a tank opening and kill the tank crew inside.

Some Russians refuse to go and kill Ukrainians. They have to spend something like 10 years in prison, but at least Ukrainian drones aren't killing them, they are not evil.

The one I still like is where the drone is filming out in the desert and it caught this UAP coming down the mountain and then whizzing right through the desert and out of sight at very high speeds.

I'm not sure if that one was ever debunked (don't believe it was), it was from several years ago now, but I thought it was quite amazing. I'm sure most of you know which one I'm talking about

Might be my eyes playing up but on first watch the clouds/background seems unnaturaly static, is this a CGI render or normal cloud movement for the area?

Seems like they were having fun knowing how many would fall for this , its a classic case of how to degrade the whole subject

And for those reading this thread, stop flagging it hurts

It's a a drone. So you have a drone filming another drone. It's movement's are pointless and if it is for surveillance, it's surveillance of junk and pointlessness. I'm guessing human operator.

The title is misleading. The object was not 'cruising'.

It is a for fun video. CGI fake. Not even a drone. Superimposed image of a 'drone' with a 'give away' details for emusiment.

One of the analysts who initially thought it was supersonic went out to visit the site. He saw stuff in the air and he told Mick West that he now thinks it's poplar fluff. It's certainly been shown to be possible that it's poplar fluff, but it's so blurry due to the motion, there's really no way to confirm that identification 100%. Whatever it is, it turned out that it's not moving that fast after all. Some of the analyses that said it was moving very fast made some flawed assumptions in their analyses, including propellerhead, who changed his own analysis after more careful consideration.

The videos with the sensational claims got lots of views.
The videos explaining why it's not so sensational after all only got a small fraction of the views, so that's likely why you and others still think it hasn't been debunked, well the video isn't actually bunk, it does appear to be a genuine video of poplar fluff or whatever it is. It's the sensational explanations about supersonic speeds that have been debunked.

0:47 Rob Woodus aka "propellerhead" posted a video saying the object was obscured by the ridgeline and parallax proved it was far away, proved it can't be a bug.
2:42 On March 23, propellerhead (Rob Woodus) updated his analysis with a video called "Beaver Utah, Another Way to See it?" where he realized his previous arguments about the ridgeline and parallax are not conclusive.
3:44 November 2019 Rob Woodus took a trip to the site of the video and noticed how much stuff was floating in the air (including seeds)
4:40 November 2021 Rob Woodus replies to Mick West about what he thinks the object is after reflecting on it for 2 more years: "Hey Mick, I think it's poplar fluff"
5:01 Look at the view counts, views of the youtube videos being over a million for the originals but only a few thousands for the retractions.
6:26 "The fun theory beats the boring theory, even when the boring theory is correct" in views of the video.

You might want to elaborate on the 'give away' details (for emusiment?) bastion asked about the clouds, and while it's true we don't see movement in the clouds, the view never stays in one direction long enough to really tell, it's a few seconds in one direction, then it changes the view, so it's kind of hard to tell in a few seconds in each view about the clouds.
