My, that sounds bad. To use money to pressure another country into doing something sure was wrong. And Trump was actually impeached for it.

So it seems we have established that if you use money promised, to force another country into doing something you want them to do, it's wrong and impeachable. Ok. I'm not sure I agree, but those are the rules. And they have precedent.

How is this different? It seems an awful lot like Joe Biden forced Ukraine to do something or he wouldn't give them the money. From here, it looks very similar. Perhaps someone can explain what's different about it and why it's not an impeachable offence.

Here's how it's different:

A government official telling a foreign country to do something that's aligned with our foreign policy otherwise foreign aid will be withheld is not illegal. Carrying out Obama's foreign policy with regard to Ukraine was one of Biden's official duties in 2015. He wasn't just freelancing.

A POTUS suggesting to a foreign head of state that foreign aid that has already been appropriated by Congress will be withheld unless that individual helps the sitting POTUS get reelected is not part of the POTUS' official duties. When a sitting POTUS decides to run for re-election he/she is doing it as an individual citizen for personal gain. Donald Trump himself acknowledged as much in one of his 2020 filings in the Supreme Court. Using a federal office for personal gain is the definition of public corruption.

If there was any evidence that Joe Biden got personal gain from his actions toward Ukraine in 2015 then he definitely would be open to charges of corruption. That's why Republicans are trying to find such evidence. So far, no joy.

Democrats would have you believe that the investigator was corrupt. Of course, there's literally nothing to back up this claim. In fact, there is plenty to refute that claim. But I've yet to meet a Democrat that's interested in truth. They would also have you believe that a crack smoking, naked, sex trafficking degenerate taking bribes right and left from our own enemies serving on the board of a foreign energy corporation with zero experience is somehow NOT questionable. All of that to obfuscate the obvious truth, that Biden did indeed engage in quid pro quo. The Bidens have often flaunted their crimes in the faces of their completely brain-dead supporters. Hell, Hunter did it in a memoir literally no one was asking for lol.

Your son and brother are on the board of burisma and the president of USA is going to withhold 1B$ of foreign aid if they don’t fire the prosecutor investigating burisma. If that’s not abuse of power I don’t know what is.

This is the pivot point of the whole argument. If Trump threatened to withhold the money, he would be guilty of QPQ.
He did not. But Biden did threaten. You can't skip over this fact if you are truly trying to be fair and balanced.
