Data from the 2020 U.S. Census Bureau show that there are approximately 20.7 million Asian and Pacific Islanders in the United States—comprising 6.2 % of the U.S. population—that make up the fastest growing minority group in the United States.
Fear of Competition? Research Shows That When Asian Students Move In, White Families Move Out In wealthy, educated communities, evidence emerges of a new form of “white flight.”
cities like Cupertino) where white families disenrolled from local schools following an influx of Asian children, with some parents openly complaining of increased academic competition from the new arrivals.

There was always, always a spin, that the black folks were bringing something negative, something unsavory and that the whites were escaping. (I’m not saying I believe this, but this is how it was portrayed)
the USA can only benefit from an Asian influx. (I'm talking civilized Tiger-Mom Asians, not Triad/CCP thug Asians.)

Tsk Tsk Tsk, you are separating Asians by light skin, dark skin aren’t you?
WELL if you are, don’t worry about it because COLLEGES do it too. How do I know? When my daughter went there was a scholarship opportunity but it excluded Japan, Korea… She applied anyway and because her school had very little Asians in general she got it.
PS. There is a place for Thug Asians, or as my lovely brother would say, I know people that know people. It always cracks me up when he says that. We just call them our form of policing.
not to profile but in certain circles it's said the Asian neighborhoods police themselves. apologies if this is a racist/stereotyping statement...

The Sermon on the Mount it's not only one of the most famous sections in Holy Scripture, but it's also one of the most transformative teachings in the history of the world (its rival teachings being Jesus’ other discourses). However, we must recognize that divine instruction cuts against the grain of human thinking. The Sermon on the Mount in Chapter 5 of Matthew’s Gospel begins with a series of proclamations that must have been disturbing if not perplexing to those who heard it. In verses 2-11, the so-called “Beatitudes,” our Lord, seated, with the crowds before Him, proclaimed,
"Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Blessed are those who mourn, for they shall be comforted.
Blessed are the meek, for they shall inherit the earth.
I think a lot of cities saw this as loss of tax revenue
We have a winner !! They don't give a damn about your child's education, they see parents as a 24/7 ATM. I couldn't tell you how much we spent on football, dance and gymnastics, but I'd guess around 10k over 6 years. There's 2 years difference in my kids so just when one graduated, the other was still in there. After they had both graduated, the school STILL kept hitting us up for donations.

Why are your posts so contradictory? You posted not that long ago complaining about black nutcrackers taking over your Target store in the middle of the "white" midwestern community. But now commending white flight because it's smart Asians, and coming across like oh that's not a big deal (also because you know Asian American amirght?) Then you kind of always make a back peddling comment like "But I'm NOT racist guys!! Promise! I'm just making observations!" Please. I don't know how anyone on this forum can take you seriously. Also nice job on always bringing your humble bragging into your posts yet again. Of course you beat all your classmates including the boys!! I've never eyerolled so hard in my life. I still can't figure out if you are trolling ATS most of the time with your threads or if you really just a bored housewife with nothing better to do than take your complaints and observations to a conspiracy site and be like "OHMYGERD you guys won't believe this!" Do you really believe or are outraged by half the crap you post, inquiring minds would like to know!

What year was that in Los Angeles? I remember visiting in the mid 80’s and I thought it was the scariest place I had ever been! All Asian neighborhood. I remember bars on all the store windows and things like that.
