Poll 1 In 5 Democrats want Trump Perm Imprisoned, Exiled or Executed if guilty

I have never heard of Heartland. I have heard of Rasmussen. Interesting poll.
Democrats are bit extreme in their anti-Trump bloodlust.
If found guilty, simple imprisonment for a certain length of time for him would be fine.
But 1 in 5 want "Permanently imprisoned', 'Exiled', 'Executed' ... that's EXTREME.

47% of likely voters believe Trump guilty of alleged crimes to overturn the 2020 election, including 72% of Democrats and 20% of Republicans

18% of Democrat likely voters think Trump should be punished by “jail for life,” “permanent exile,” or “death,” if found guilty

77% of Democrat likely voters think Trump should be “banned from running” for public office again, if found guilty

48% of likely voters say media members who alleged election fraud should be criminally punished, if Trump found guilty

48% of Democrat likely voters believe media members who alleged election fraud should be “banned from public speaking,” receive prison time, or a combination of both

The poll of 1,085 likely voters was conducted from November 30 to December 6, 2023. Among those surveyed in the poll, 33% were Republicans, 36% were Democrats, and 31% were “other”; 32% were 18-39 years old, 46% were 40-64 years old, and 22% were 65 or older.

Of course they do. Its called projection. They know if Trump gets in, their risk of arrest goes ways up.

All Trump is doing is enforcing the law.

I think if election fraud is proven, then everyone who mocked folks about being concerned about election fraud should be executed.

I think the better term is election manipulation in favor of the Democrats. Liberal Congress pushed the mass mailings and that played right into the "grassroots" liberal event of going door to door to collect votes, help people pick the right candidate etc., and then drop them off in mass. You just need to pay people to go door to door, and they then can throw out and conservative vote and keep only liberal votes, or say something like, here let me fill it out for you, just sign here.

I have seen back in the day liberals using school buses, they run the educational system too, pick up the homeless and poor, and drive them to the voting centers while telling them who to vote for, BTW here is 20 bucks for lunch.

Come forward, mass mailings were like this but like putting gas on a small fire in possible results.

Not surprising, that’s an extremist view, and finding out a party has 20% of people who are willing to say something so hyperbolic honestly seems low.

You should have to prove treason or murder to actually get such sentences, but obviously some people get so emotional with politics they can’t be logical or reasonable.

It also didn’t help that Trump was so against mail in voting and encouraged his voters not to participate in the mail in, and only show up.

He kind of shot himself in the foot on that one.

I understand some believe he was justified in those beliefs… but it’s been proven before that if a candidate is too negative about the results ahead of an election, some of their base just won’t go out and vote. The same can be said if a candidate is too positive like Hilary in 2016, many believe it’s just in the bag so they don’t go.

I don’t think he was as tactical last time around compared to 2016 where everything was very thought out. Luckily for him, I don’t think he needs to be next time around. I just don’t see a big support for Biden.

So if you are a liberal you do not think Biden is brain dead, has lied his whole career, and has used his positions to gain money? I'm sure a secret vote would have like 95% of the country agreeing here. The reason why it is only like 70% saying Biden negatively affected their lives is because the liberals hate Trump so much they are willing to live in crap to take him out.

I think that hate comes from that the polls had Hillary 90% winning and she lost, so in the Liberal eyes Trump took out their chance for the first Female President. Its a wound that can never heal.

I have quite a few friend who lean left to varying extremes. I never knew one who was an avid Biden supporter before he took office, and I don’t know one who thinks he’s been a good president.

Sadly, most people voting for Trump or Biden is simply a protest vote against the other.

Trump did us no favors when it came to the economy. It was known that there was going to be inflation with the decisions made during COVID. The stimulus packages and low interest rates were sold with the stipulation we’d have to eventually counter the extreme measures which would result in a tightening of the economy, albeit many believed the conditions would be better once we had “figured out” COVID.

The liberals invented the canx culture, so why is anyone surprised... BTW it's not working... Alex is back, and people are now suing this whole canx culture right into the dirt. Liberals were smarter back in the day. They kicked Biden out the first time he tried to run for President. He lied about so many things the Liberals were like this guy will not represent us.

Trump may not have been the best for the economy, but once Biden took over it was like he poured gas on a small inflation fire. We still would have had inflation, but not near as bad as it got if Trump had won and didn't do the extremes Biden and company did.
