I’m not great at writing new threads. Never do really. Not even sure if I linked the site right. Anyway… I’m better at pithy comments, snarky side observations, and philosophical banter.

Having that said if this thread has already been created apologies in advance. I can’t believe it wouldn’t be covered here. I find it incredibly important.

NY has created a law that would make Vader proud.

Without any indication of illness, they can swoop in and scoop you, your children, spouse, etc in the dead of night. Then subject you to indefinite quarantine, any medical treatment they feel like, with no rhyme or reason….with no repercussions.

I’m not sure how/why this passed. Yet as a dissident er um, denizen of CA I can see this coming to a town on the west coast soon as well. My heart goes out to the New Yorkers that are faced with this draconian legislation.

I can’t see how this is not the next step in Gestapo tactics via the US government by proxy for the WHO, IMF, WEF etc.

This is ripe for overreach with political intent if ever there was a law.

I don’t have much to add other than I hope this is firmly opposed.

Long ago we outlawed having religion in government now they found a loophole for this

Science in government they can't force you to religion but they can force you to the science

Then all they had to do was make a few adjustments making it so you can't question the science and boom u have the exact same power and control religion had over people with a new shinny coat of paint

Fair assessment.

But most intelligent people know science is settled.

Until it ain’t. Until a new discovery or breakthrough resets the understanding. Science isn’t science without the Scientific Method. Which implies question. Lots. It isn’t settled nor does it happen in a vacuum. Evah.

To say government alone holds the talking stick in one hand and the baton of wisdom in the other concerning what is known about our wonderfully mysterious world is like a scene out of A Space Odyssey.

Science has vacated the building on this one.

Regardless this is unethical and unconstitutional.

Mostly it’s morally abhorrent.

At least they are doing this in New York City and not nationally (yet), that way we will see it happen there first. Maybe we'll get a chance to show how bad of an idea this really is as the WHO and other "health" agencies are trying to force these emergency measures on the entire world.

Last year, state Supreme Court Judge Ronald Ploetz ruled that the quarantine law violated the constitutional requirement for a separation of powers between the two branches of government. But the state appealed, and the New York state’s 4th Judicial Department recently overturned that decision.

So, they can quarantine you without any evidence of disease now. Kind of handy for locking up anyone who they feel might have some "mental disease" possibly caused by some "unknown possibly catchy disease" because they are saying things that go against what the people running the state are saying. A lot of conservatives might be locked away

Next global meeting is in March 2024, the deadline for agreement is May 2024 to make it a binding document. The USA and Europe and the mains one pushing for the deadline, rest of the world still has concerns about an agreeable document by then. Funding and Intellectual Property Regulations are big issues, there are others. The global, corporate interests is a danger is with how covid has been going.

With a deadline of May 2024, it does give some time for another big play to disrupt the November 2024 elections? If not then, when? With gain of function getting a free pass on covid, how much else of that research is still going on? Will some death cult use it to eliminate the competition or perform a big culling?

I don't know what oversight there is in the NY regulations. What if something like Ebola really broke out? I know there is a lot of concern with how paranoid and fear porn people went as covid started. With the corruption going on it does make an easy out if the government wants to start political persecutions.

In the heat of the moment in a life threatening situation, do what you have to to defend yourself and others. Getting onto any problems early can make a difference. There does have to be some accountability for any excessive actions taken.

Yeeh very scary . This is like China coming to NY , or NY changing to China ...either way, should not happen in any civilized nation/country/state anywhere.

If you live in a blue state, guaranteed this will be coming. Anything that destroys your rights as a citizen, is what the leftists and WEF types want. They want to create a medical dictatorship, using psychologists and doctors as the tools to implement tyranny.
