The Biden administration had done no such thing.
You apparently don't know how that works, specifically in the credit zone of things. And please don't take offense as it is a kinda niche thing to get.
Energy wise we are doing just fine. Don't allow these tomfoolery news sources fool ya.
They just want views.
they say if you can explain it to a child, then you really understand the topic. Why don't you give it a shot and explain it to us, as if we were children.

I don't know about that. The Biden Admin wants to be totally rid of coal. That's 20%. And they want to get rid of methane producers which is natural gas and that's 40%. That's a total of 60%. The numbers add up. Solar and wind can't make up for that.
There are more than 200 of these large Chinese transformers in our electric grid today
“Deployment of utility-scale solar and wind technologies in remote areas is likely to require ultra-high-voltage transmission lines to move the power to cities. China is the world’s leading supplier of advanced grid components for ultra-high-voltage systems, such as transformers, circuit breakers, and inverters, which we assess creates cyber vulnerability risks.”
“The problem is that we are importing transformers and equipment from the People’s Republic of China to install in our critical electric infrastructure that the Chinese government is already hacking,” Mabee explained. “This creates a massive cyber vulnerability for the United States. As far back as 2003, Congress expressed concern about China conducting ‘coordinated cyber reconnaissance’ and ‘probing’ U.S. electric utilities in a hearing entitled: ‘Implications of Power Blackouts for The Nation’s Cybersecurity and Critical Infrastructure Protection,’” he added.
The critical electric sector is made up of about 3,000 entities, both public and private sector, involved in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electricity. The regulatory structure is complex with over 60 public and private sector regulators involved, including the Department of Energy (DOE), Federal Energy Regulatory Commission (FERC), North American Electric Reliability Corporation (NERC), U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC), and state public utility commissions (PUCs).

Since when is the New York Post a tomfoolery news source?
Now if you said that about The New York Times, I would have to agree.
Don't be part of the dum dum
First claim: “Team Biden announced it will stop production of all new coal plants in the United States.”
One problem with this is that the federal government does not make the decisions to produce or not produce coal plants in the US.
Second claim: "Eliminating methane is a de facto ban on natural gas power plants."
The problem with this statement is that the guy who wrote the article—Steve Moore—is either too dumb to understand what was actually being proposed or does understand what is being proposed and is lying about it. The Biden proposal is NOT to eliminate methane (natural gas) as a fuel. The proposal is to eliminate unintentional methane leaks from the production of power because raw methane is a more powerful greenhouse gas than the CO2 that is produced when it is burned. In most cases, that requires technology no more complicated than a pipe wrench to keep fittings tightened. And since methane is actually a valuable commodity, it’s in the interests of the power companies to stop pissing it away into the atmosphere.
Third claim: "These regulations will cause rolling blackouts and brownouts across the country, much like we’ve already seen in California — America’s forerunner of radical anti-fossil fuel policies."
As a long time California resident this is a topic I know something about from personal experience. It is an observational fact that since the year 2000 the reliability of electric power availability in the state has become crappy--to use a technical term. I now will experience more power interruptions in one year than I experienced in all my years leading up to 2000. But the reasons for that unreliability have absolutely zero to do with anti-fossil fuel policies. In fact, none of the many blackouts and brownouts have been caused by lack of generating capacity. Earlier this year we had a run where all the power needs of the State were supplied by wind and solar with no need for natural gas.
